Runtz Muffins from Barneys Farm (28% THC)

Hey @Arrow and @PharmerBob.

If i just lollipoppped qnd defoliated all at that the same time id guess that would put on alot of stress on the plant.

How do i know when its fully back to growing?

I ask because this part here has started to regrow little leaves.

Does that mean its on its way back to health?

The plant is sucking nutes all right…it normally takes about a week…keep removing those suckers, they steal the nutes that’s supposed to go to your mains…:sunglasses::v:

Someone told me “suckers” are only on tomato plants.
What exactly is a “sucker leaf”?

4-5 days after lollipopping and lightly schwazzing.

Looking back im wonder if i should have left “some” of those elongated shoots and just defoliated all the way to the top like what you were saying to increase harvest weight. Oh well. Live and Learn. Thanks for all your help @PharmerBob

My goal now is to fatten the colas up as much as possible. Should i continue to use theese PK boosters even though it throws my PPM and EC way up? And if so, which one would you go with?

My understanding is open sesame is to help the transition into flower and helps getting the bud sites growing. Cha-ching is for the flavor/aroma/trichomes at mid to late flower stage (the closer) … they sell a mid flower booster, beastie bloomz, that is used to build bud structure.

Dont have beastie bloomz. Ive been using cha ching but stopped becently due to salt build up.

Any recommendations?

Cha ching

Fox farm offers a flushing agent. I hear alot of ppl talking about using it like the schedule recommendeds bc of that very issue (salt build up) … I dont use 100% strength so I don’t have it. Believe its called sledgehammer

You could sub mkp for beastie bloomz if you’re mixing with with base nutrients. The beastie bloomz is pretty much mkp with micros and maybe kelp extract if I remember. Your base nutes should cover micros anyway. Mkp is like $15-20 for 5 pound container, as opposed to $18 for 6oz of beastie bloomz.

I use FloraKleen. Does the same thing ive read. Just a different manufacturer

@dbrn32 are you reffering to this? I ran a search on "5 Pound MPK and this was one of the suggestions.

If not do you or anyone know what this is and how to properley use it (per gallon) and what its used for?

I bought it awhile ago in a used grow bundle package.

Yeah, what is “MPK”?

This is what I found.

Negative, that is potash. Mkp is mono potassium phosphate. I know people that use both. The proper concentration would depend on what you’re trying to do and what/if anything else you are using.

Both are commonly used in horticulture nutrients. Check the ingredients on bottles you have, I bet you see at least one but probably both. Mkp is the main ingredient in beastie bloomz or moab, so its a pretty easy substitute. Especially when using as a supplement to base nutrients. If using this way, like 1/4-1/2 teaspoon per gallon.

If you start going beyond that, is basically building your own plant nutrients. I don’t really have the time to support members in doing this, but most are capable of doing this with a bit of research.

Can you take a look and tell me what you think?

Just want to thank you @Arrow for helping me make the decision to degoliate and lollipop.

The plant bounced back almost right away.
The nugs are really fattening up. Almost leaning with weight. Thank you sir.
