New member, new grow, new to autoflower seeds

I like mines in the ground. I build my soil up though for my gardening so I used that. Next round will have them outside early March but will veg them inside

Letā€™s do a poll on these 3 representative buds of what I now have drying and curing:

You canā€™t smell or smoke them but you can see them. Based on that.

Try to rate these from best to worst.

  1. Buds that look best to you?
  2. Buds you think smell the best?
  3. Buds you think smoke the best and pack the heaviest punches?

If we get a few contestants, Iā€™ll reveal my rankings on all 3 questions.
Iā€™ll start it out with my 1st place finisher for question 1: Bud 2
Letā€™s see if anyone else thinks differently.
From my experiences, these buds look to be better stuff than the others.
As most of us know, looking the best is the least important of these 3 questions though. LOL
What do you all think? Please post your answers and rankings to these 3 questions.

Iā€™ll take a stab for grinsā€¦

Q1 - Bud 2, agreed
Q2 - Iā€™ll guess bud 3
Q3 - Iā€™m going with Bud 1, donā€™t want her to feel left out.

If you tell me Iā€™m wrong, Iā€™ll need you to send a sample of each to confirm. :face_with_monocle:

Consider what putting them in the ground really means.

If someone finds your grow, all you can do to salvage something from them before they are confiscated or stolen is chop them down at whatever stage they are at. In pots, you simply move them to a more secure location.

The location you chose in early spring based on the sun at that time is not as good as another nearby location now that it is mid-summer. Simply move your fabric pot to the better location at that time.

Bringing in lots of soil is a hassle and suspicious. IMHO
Unless it is already in your fabric pots that you bring in 1 at a time, around sunrise.

My autos flowered after only 4 weeks. Gglue. 12" and 18" respectively. WHY!!! 18/6 light. Trimmed first top to get 2 and those to get 4 tops then they flowered. I want 3 to 4 ft first not 1 ft. And 4 buds only. :pensive:

Have you heard the Meatloaf song ā€œ2 out of 3 ainā€™t badā€?
Do you know which question you got wrong?
Iā€™m not telling as I donā€™t really have much to share with you. LOL

OK, for covert guerilla growers there are valid reasons for putting your plants on someone elseā€™s property.

Of course, in legal States you want them in your yard near water and your supplies.

But States that still forbid growing these plants.

They can use their confiscating property bought with drug $ BS excuse, to go after even your house then.

On the next-door neighborā€™s property behind his fence, he never goes behind, that doesnā€™t link you to those plants or give them any excuse to take your property if the Law shows up.

Agreed on that. Just have different ways to milk a cow.

So, these are crazy guesses, but #3 and possibly 1 was grown outside.
2 was indoor grown.
2 is most desirable flower structure.
1 looks like it was a more indica dominance
3 was the outdoor grown, but more sativa I would love to get better look after it was trimmed.

2 the buds that smell the best, because Iā€™m after the terpenes for most of what I grow, in one shape or another.
1 appearances can vary so much, based on environmental, lighting. genetics. So I learn to appreciate each strain for its unique growth structure some better than others. Lol.
3 is related to the smell, each terpene works with each persons chemistry.

You must be listening to Meatloaf too.

ā€œCause 2 out of 3 ainā€™t badā€

Here are my rankings for question one: 2 - 1 - 3

1 of the buds doesnā€™t get the best rating for any of the 3 questions.

1 and 3 are the outdoor buds.
3 is actually the same WWA as 2 only grown outdoors.

I think you are right about this.
In this case, to me, the 1 that smells the best also hits the hardest!
Unfortunately, it is also the 1 I have the least of. Ainā€™t that how it always goes?
The 1 that ranks the lowest in Question 3 is the 1 I have the most of.
That figures, right?
:+1: :sunglasses:

Not crazy at all. You know your stuff @Covertgrower
2 & 3 are the same ILGM WWA strain with 3 grown outdoors.

1 looks like it was a more indica dominance. Correct again! 100% Indica

Can you guess that strain, now?

Autos usually start flowering on their own 28 to 35is days. Some a bit shorter or longer depending on issues is about norm for 4 weeks sound sufficient for an auto

Edit. Also autos u cannot decide what size u want them to be before flower lol. They have a mind of their own.

:joy: Got me on that one.

Sometimes have opposite names like Skunk.
ILGMā€™s Super Skunk is even Skunkier
Their Super Silver Haze is even more Silvery. I guess. LOL
So far, no complaints of poor genetics for any ILGM seeds Iā€™ve grown.
The SSH had a twin seed and I got 3 slightly different phenotypes.
1 may be better than the other 2, but all 3 have top-quality genetics. IMHO

Jack got circumcised today, heā€™s done with his manifold training now.
He hasnā€™t seemed to go into flower even in the 12/12 tent.
Now that he can only grow his 8 branches, going into flower is fine.
The GDP is stalled and the 2nd BK seed has not popped up yet. :sob:
Iā€™m begining to wonder about these Banana Kush seeds.

Tomorrow is exactly 6 weeks from going 12/12 for these girls.
That means they should have at least 2 more weeks to go.
SSH seems like a quick flowering strain, IMHO.
Jack and GDP hanging out in their corner.
