New member, new grow, new to autoflower seeds

Yes, these are my flowering dry nutes:

They have it even cheaper now that the season is over

My Banana Kush seed has gone MIA after being dropped in coco soil mix.
It failed to break through the soil and pop up. I rooted around where I dropped it,
loosing up and moving top-soil away from the Drop zone, but could not find it.
OK, I might have to count my 1st ILGM seed that failed to germinate.
I dropped another BK so it can stay relatively even with the GDP for flowering.

I cleaned my soaking dish good with soap to kill and keep any bad bacteria from growing.
Used distilled water with minerals added, something my wife bought but the minerals seemed fine.
No stupid Flouride in it, but 1-2 drops of hydrogen peroxide added to the dish, then the seed.
The last BK seed was goofy, sinking 1st then refloating, then resinking with no tail by end of 36 hour soak.
This one will get my normal 24 hour soak and hope to see it sink and show some tail by then.
When this seed hit the water it immediately floated like my other successful germinating ILGM seeds.
It will get planted then in some different soil than the 1st BK seed.
I better have at least 1 of those 2 seeds sprouted in 3 days to keep on track.

That’s crazy how

I think the new BK seed is showing it is starting to germinate.
So, into a new cup container of soil media it has gone.
The seed went in about 1/2" deep and I misted the area to cover the seed.
Put it on the windowsill, but hazy cloud cover so far this morning.
I do think that a couple of hours of some clear direct rays from the sun,
penetrate the soil and help stimulate the seed to germinate and pop up quickly.
Jack is looking good in his new home.
The MIA seed pot is in there still in case BK shows up still.

Since the 1 plant is having some yellowing of leaves,
which was suggested the plant was using nutes from those leaves.
I thought, what if I misted my nute water onto the leaves at the beginning of the day.
Plants are programmed for the morning dew, and with the fan and lights, the mist won’t stay too long.
Maybe if the leaf can get nutes from the mist to give to the plant,
then maybe it can retain its own nutes and remain green instead of yellowing??
More flash glamour shots of the SSH girls later today.

Jack has sent out his 3rd node on each side since the split.
I will likely let it send out the 5th or 6th node before I top the 2 sides again.
Then I will cut them just under the 4th node and remove the 2nd node.
The branches that develop from the 1st & 3rd nodes on each side,
will become my 8 long main colas in flowering if all goes as planned.
I think I need to start looking for some “yo-yo’s” to help support long heavy tops.
Does anyone have a link and some experience with using them???

Maybe a little excessive with the glamour shots, but they are oh soo pretty!

This strain has its own unique aroma. Not excessive or overbearing, but fresh and pleasant.
I wonder how it will smell after proper drying and curing? Great, I hope! :+1: :sunglasses:

They definitely are gorgeous

What I have drying and curing now,
all the outdoor stuff smells much better than my indoor WWA buds.
I’d say the Super Skunk has the best sort of spicy smell.
The outdoor WWA smells decent even with some bud rot retained.
Same with the outdoor Amnesia from a different supplier I won’t use anymore.
The indoor WWA buds don’t smell bad or have any mold or rot.
I swear they almost smell like some vegetables or something.
IDK, maybe my sense of smell is still out of whack after having COVID?
The outdoor stuff certainly smells like some quality weed, the indoor buds, not so much yet. :sob:
On the other hand, the indoor WWA buds do look the best, with their orange hairs everywhere. LOL

Wish I could tell u how my tent smells its just strong because of the 3 strains but a strong citrus smell

I wonder if I took a nice Super Skunk bud and put 1 in each of the WWA jars to cure with?
Maybe the good SS smell would permeate the WWA buds?
Or trigger the indoor buds to develop and release their own terpenes?

:man_shrugging::man_shrugging: go 4 it. Mark the jars without it and the 1s you added.

A test with a control group! Scientific methodology!
Better than my idea to do it to all of them at once.

Jars getting burped now.
Nice smelling Super Skunk buds going in 1/2 the jars after their burp! :+1: :sunglasses:

That way you know 4 next year also. The growing only gonna get bigger

Oh yeah.

I learned a lot from this year’s meager results!
I can’t complain too much as I did get a few Ozs of quality weed.
But next year?
I plan to get more than that from each plant from the grower’s expanded experience and knowledge!

Exactly we in the same boat this year was the try out year, next year and following years will only be better.

1 thing 4 sure I ain’t starting them late again

I ain’t putting them in the ground, using fabric pots from now on for sure!
I’m also not putting them out early and getting temps dropping under 40 overnight next time.
Fabric pots can be easily picked up and moved if necessary or a better spot located!
Full control of the soil media, not having to rely on the environment for good grow parameters.
Protecting new seedlings from critters that got 1/3 of them this year.
Fabric pots with chicken wire around the top until well established should protect them.

ill be starting mine on april 1st in fabric pots then putting the whole thing in the ground end of may.

Autos started indoors, trained, and beginning to flower when brought outdoors.
Likely last week of May 1st week of June for transfer outdoors.
This will have them Harvest ready by the middle of August, by my rough calculations.
Perfect in that you have a fresh weed harvest before all outdoor photo growers possibly can.

The second round of photo clones will go outdoors and finish mid-late Oct.
These have the potential to be monster plants with BIG yields!
Some SSH photo clones of mine will go outdoors seeking 10+ footers from some sativas!
Likely GDP and BK photo clones from the ones I just started now will go outdoors next year too!
