ILGM Gold Leaf just starting week 3 of flower

Using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco Bloom

A 4-0-0
B 0-4-5

B52 2-1-4
Old (non coco) Big Bud 0-1-3
New Big Bud 0-4-4
Overdrive 1-5-4

I have been feeding at
3ml/L of A (AN suggests 4ml/L)
3ml/L of B (AN suggests 4ml/L)
2ml/L of Big Bud
2ml/L of B52

I will start on Overdrive tomorrow
3ml/L of A (AN suggests 4ml/L)
3ml/L of B (AN suggests 4ml/L)
2ml/L of Overdrive
2ml/L of B52

Pretty much what AN recommend (Hobbyist level), just reduced A & B by 25% (1ml/L)

Hmm. Are they the ph perfect nutes?

Again tho, if they are looking good and fattening up, just keep doing what you’re doing. It’s a mystery with the runoff on those 2 lol. I hate that I can’t figure it out!!! Lol.

@Screwauger sorry to bother you bro, but I know you use the AN ph perfect nutes. Did you cut out nitrogen in flower, or follow the schedule all the way through?

A&B are Sensi Coco Bloom pH Perfect

B52 & A both seem to have a fair amount of N. I’m not so worried about the green-ness, the plants seem happy & healthy. I was just concerned about the run off PPMs being so high, clearly something was building up and the plants had a really minor touch of tip burn (SMcSF was just starting to show claw leaf)

Towards the end you want her eating herself. Too much green can make your smoke a little harsher.
Just get a good flush the last week or 2 and you’ll be fine.

Sure, flushing the coco was to (1) get the run off PPMs down / stop the burn and (2) make the final flush easier/more effective

You got this! Keep me posted

Cheers mate! I’ll hit you up when something interesting happens

I’m watching and following along!

SMcSF got a hair cut tonight, it really opened up the plant to some airflow

Before

A little bud porn

After

Same bud after the hair cut.

It’s amazing how many dead leaves I dug out of the heart of the plant. Hopefully the improved airflow will keep the mold away. I don’t think Nick Heyward and Les Nemes need another trim

The clones are still with me, one of them looks quite good, the other two are a bit meh. Presumably they are busy growing roots coz not much else has happened. Three feminized Amnesia Haze beans popped, were planted and are now showing their first leaves.

In other news, I planted some crazy hot chilli seeds (Ghost pepper, Carolina Reaper & Trinidad Moruga Scorpion) and threw then in the veg tent. Has anyone else tried growing Chillis with their weed? Wonder if they would enjoy the same nutes?

@MattyBear A quick update :wink:

Nice job on the haircut! It’s crazy how fast they bounce back from a trim. I’m gonna have to do a little more trimming on my big girl who’s been in flower for 3+ weeks and I’ve already defoliated her twice!

It’s a Gorilla tent, this one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KCSSBWY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They’re kind of pricey but the material is really thick and it has some nice features. I really like the double ‘cuffs’ on the ports, you can seal them up to keep the light out. I think the dimples are there to stop the light causing hot spots on the plants.

I have had cheap tents in the past but they always rip or the zips fail so this time I thought I would buy a decent quality tent

We’ll find out how good the plants are soon

Y, they really do bounce back. I should give the other two another hair cut today

Maybe this is useful to other people, the stand and tray I use:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007ZU6V7O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KQWN6I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have a hole drilled in the tray and chunks of wood to lift up the back of it. Growing in cloth pots makes catching the run off a little tricky but with this setup I just put a jug under the hole and the excess water runs into the jug.

There are shorter leg kits available for the stand too

@DVM thanks for the reply I noticed the little dimples on the inside I’m not sure but I think they mite be calling it diamond technology and I think that you are right on that it is for hot spots very cool tho.

Thanks for posting that! I need one for my 2x2. I like the whole set up even though I’d only need the tray. Is the stand adjustable?
