You can kinda wing it if you have a good data set for the lights you are using. Or just time with them to know what you can get away with and what you can’t. Good record keeping is important.
I’m currently vegging my (one) plant under a single panel of Samsung 'Strips at 3,000K, turned down to about 125 watts for veg.
My theory the less buds your plants have to worry about the more focused your energy will be …if you cut off bottom branches and send all the same amount if energy to well lit parts of the plant it will have no choice but to grow it all at the top that’s y multiple small plants I feel is much better turn around then filling a 2x4 screen I’d rather do 24 clones single cola then 2 plants and 12 colas each I shave a week or 2 off each harvest let’s me get a few more in a year I theory I hoping for atleast 50 harvests a year
I’ll probally be closer to 35 to 40 harvest first year because I have new strains I’m not firmiliar with and also I know purple haze always goes longer then 8 week…but good thing is I can keep everything on schedule I can throw a rack or 2 to the side if I ha e a 10 week strain they will just be a little off to the side it will help them starch better lol
That is an AWESOME pic showing the stickyness of the trichs…just a cool pic with great clarity… Way to go man… you’re going to be Baked of homegrown “maaannn” …
Think for a 3x3 he recommends the 260xw. Better spacing and light coverage for a square. The 100 maybe just short intensity wise and ull lose a bit of the density with the extra space. It should veg u perfectly tho, just the edges may fall a tad short in flower
Maybe ur environment is a tad dry. Do u have fans in the room? Minus those. Just jar em up and make sure u burp them. Theyll get that bounce back overnight
O and with light. Too much trumps too little 95% of the time in my experience
Ditto, 4-5 days depending on strain, bud dencity, and of course RH etc. Allot of variables, so your likely fine! @PurpNGold74 gotcha! Jar it up and burp faithfully! I😉
@dbrn32 si broke down and ordered the hlg260xw today. I hope it’s not hard to assemble. I will be starting a new journal for grow #2 hopefully tonight.
