Lights, lights! So many LED light choices... o.O Please help a sister out :)

Hello friends. We will finally be preparing our grow room over the next couple of weeks and have been researching for months about the lights. I had previously decided on 2 of these.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00U2DP48I/?tag=greenrel-20

However, they are about to be sold out. After reading sooo muuch, now I am questioning whether my original choice was a good one and what would compare? My goal is 6 plants, autoflower mix pack from ILGM, I will be growing in a spare bedroom, with plenty of space, and ventilation. My budget for lights is about $350. I have been composting my own soil for this project since August and it is ready as well. Any info on how to make this the most successful grow on a time limit to get the most potent, dense buds possible is MUCH appreciated. I am a medical patient and along with everyone else cannot afford to purchase medicine from the dispensaries here in NM… So this will be my first attempt at gaining confidence in growing cannabis. Thank y’all again!

Welcome to ILGM forum and Hello @Growinglove420
I actually own two of those light and two of the galaxy hydro 9band with ir and uv ( same co as Roleadro)
I have 5 plants in a 7foot wide 4feep&6tall box
This is where I’m at with them

Just thought I’d share
Rule of thumb with light 50watts per square foot of grow space calculating with actual watt draw not rated so example the 400 watt light your looking at draw 197/200 actual watts
Use that #

You can look into maxisun led lights or different types of mars hydro leds, also king led lights are good. Note: maxisun is an off brand led light

I’m with @Countryboyjvd1971 - I’m also using Glaxay hydo 300w LED’s. I started with two but now have three.

I am also happy with the results  A view from the webcam today shows why…

I also have the galaxyhydro 300w led and I also have the marshydro 96 reflector series which are 200w, and to be quite honest with you for the price the galaxyhydro is an excellent purchase and I will buy more of the galaxyhydros instead of spending out big bucks on marshydro. Not saying that the mars don’t do an excellent job and have more of the color spectrum and offer more features. But just from what I have seen from my yields there’s not really a big enough difference to spend out the extra money. The cheaper lights work good enough for my needs. And I could have got 5 of the galaxyhydro 300w which are 150 true watts + 5 =750w for the price I paid for 2 marshydro which are 200true watts +2 = 400w and also keep in mind that these lights will need to be replaced after 50,000hrs which is roughly about 2 years of growing.

Cool! I looked at them when I first got the one I have. They was more then and I decided to go with the cheaper one just trying it out and I really like them for the price. When I get the funds I am replacing my 600w hps with 4 or 5 of the galaxyhydro 300w with the daisy chain feature you are talking about.

Personally hydromars 192 reflector series after much research on watts , par , spectrum they are the best lights for the money and the full spectrum is unbelievable… and the quality of materials is right up there with some of the best just based on my opinion and my own results. Whatever fits the budget and needs go for it . Good luck and happy growing :+1::seedling::hibiscus:

Auto’flowering do not need to go on a 12 / 12 hours light schedule, so they grow faster and they’re perfect for you since you need a fast harvest :innocent:
