They are other organic cannabis friendly Soils you just need to do a little research. Sounds like you got a plan. With the seed starter soil You may need to start feeding a little earlier than normal.

Why I live 2 hours from Houston in a small town of 1200. I had Ft Hood and I said I would never come back. But the last year we averaged -30 F for 4 months. No more cold like that for me. Still hate Texas but I have a few good friends down here.
Use to have a blast in Tx. From the Armadillo Hq. in Auston to the city park in New Brunsfield to Padre Island to Sweetwater for Rattlesnake Roundup. It’s all changed now. Hope it all works out for you.

I have been down here 10 years now. Not moving from here. Only area I haven’t been in Texas is the Deep South part. The rest I have been many, many times.
