Never seen a seedling like this, just popped up in the garden outside…
Will it grow branches in threes?

No clue, but every once in awhile you get a plant throws extra leaves out.

Most of the time the tri leaf only lasts a node or 2.
Although it can continue throughout the plants life.
They can have some impressive yields sometimes too.
Had one a couple grows back give just over
8 z at 32 inches tall. All main stem nodes were 3 way. All side branching was 2.

Like Oldguy, I’ve had some that do continue with the sets of three and some that get over it and go back to 2. I have one in my current batch of ILGM Gorilla Glue sprouts.

Guess I will wait and see then another shot in few days if it survives, unfortunately it is just outside my room at the backpackers so it could vanish at any time.
