TDS and PPM Question

My former pen I could toggle between the different measurements. Either ppm or US/CM. Is there a MODE button below the CLEAR button? If you do, press MODE and hopefully it will toggle between ppm and US/CM
To pick up @BobbyDigital (he rightly comes by …digital) said once you move the decimal you can multiply that number by 500 to come up with ppm
.383 X 500 = 191.
moving decimal 3 places is dividing by 1000. 383 / 1000 = .383
I replaced my HoneForest TDS pen with a BlueLab conductivity pen.
There was nothing wrong with the HoneForest. I get the same readings. The big difference is the BlueLab pen measures and calculates ppm much much faster that its predecessor.
See if you can toggle using MODE, otherwise you can do a quick conversion calculation.

press mode and see if a number with ppm comes up after the number

Dude; nicely said. Even I could follow it haha.

The only oddness you have to deal with is the U.K. ppm scale which crops up: it’s not 500 scale but 700. One is salt scale and the other potassium chloride IIRC.

I guess that is why they say to use or you see EC more frequently. Make the universal measurement.
Thank god for online converters for volume, weights and lengths.

Yeah, using EC eliminates the need to figure out what scale a meter is on. You got:

500 scale = standard
700 scale = metric
EC = adjustable wrench
