Gorilla Glue times 2

Maybe I was using them wrong. I was told it’s for ‘curing and storing’ your herb. Another case of me over complicating a simple process.

Been a little while since last decent update and I’d be surprised if anyone was still following along. Never the less, onto the photos and updates.

Last time I photographed these ladies one was in desperate need of vitamins. Gave her a good dose and she’s sitting pretty again. I’m about 2 weeks into bloom, still have 7-10 weeks left to go before harvest and the only thing I’m flushing is the “flushing” idea down the toilet.

Lower right hand side: Growing out 2 more street schwag seeds hoping to get a female. One
seedling already died. It had a fan fall onto it.

Middle right hand side: My very first clone that grew new leaves. All 3 pervious attempts failed
spectacularly, Roots never grew. This one is determined to grow out big and strong.

And onto the Gorilla Glue ladies growing the buttons.

@monkman …when I say 50% moisture I dont mean that’s where you wanna end up but where cure stops …when it drops below 50% level cure stops you wanna slowly get your buds resting humidity to 62 …but when you put in jar if it goes to 90 and 62 is your goal 28 is your points you need to drop over 30 days so a lil less then 1 point a day you want the jars to read every day when you burp that’s ideal curing if it drops to 50 cure will haunt in its tracks

Thanks Greandal. I’ll remember that for when I harvest and store this next batch.

I did another trial with 5 Bovida packs and 5 different strains in 5 jars. They all tasted like themselves and a week later still do. But now they’re pliable and sticky again. Success!

The one that tastes like hay went into a new jar with a new Bovida 62%. Still tastes like hay. For probably the reasons you guys listed.

That’s how I used these Bovidas. The relative humidity in my house is 14-27% winter/summer, so the packs keep my weed from getting crispy dry.

Reminds me, I’ve heard that smoking drier, older weed of any sleepy strain and then vaping it at hotter temps will bring out the “sleepy” in it. Anyone else besides my dealer (shop seller) hear of that? @MrPeat you heard of this before?

:joy:  I can complicate the $h1t out of anything! Great minds, Philly. Great minds.

They’re looking fantastic. Well done getting your clone to root and look that lovely. When does a cola “stack”? During stretch? Are your GG girls starting to stack at or just after this button phase? This reply goes with your journal pics. I can only reply 3 times and then get the shepherds crook until someone replies back. Learning all the time

They seem to be stacking nicely. This is only 2 weeks into bloom. Actually I’m almost
at 3rd week. This Friday will be 3 full weeks into flowering.

Hey Philly I’ve been counting days since I switched to 12/12 for flowering. And then days since they actually started flowering. How do you count these?

They’re looking speckled and… frosty? Are they getting frosty yet? Is that what the trichomes look like on leaves?

I count from when I switch so I have an accurate
timeline for flip to snip. It is only about a week extra. And yes they are starting to put on the ice.
They are getting really frosty very early on so I’m excited to see what the end result is.

i count flowering from the first day that i see pistils, it is usually 4 to 6 days from flip

Major concerns about potential ‘Bud Rot’ site.
On one of my plants I have 8 colas in close proximity and of those 8 colas 4 of them
are basically on top of each other. I am thinking about cutting one cola out to give the
rest some breathing room. Has anyone else encountered this issue before and is it
something I need to be mindful of in the future?
Photo below

Other than my potential mold issue, this is my cleanest grow yet. No nute burn, no pH issues,
no flushing, no worries to note. Gorilla Glue is a very easy strain to grow and I can’t thanks
ILGM enough for the prime seeds they sold to me.

Now onto the plant porn.

Might be hard to believe but that little fan is a wind machine in disguise. Not kidding,
I was really impressed with the amount of air moved and how quiet it is.

But if you think another fan would help, Hell, I’ll throw another one in there.

Keep in mind, 35% humidity is when it’s raining outside, the humidifier is on and I’m
standing naked inside the tent after a shower. Humidity is the bane of my growing experience.
