Thanks mate - it is awesome to be back. I am waiting on a surgery date now that the specialists are happy. I was going to run clones from this grow - but that plan is on the backburner (no pun intended).
At least I know my cupboards will be full of top shelf meds!

We are finishing up using my last crop, Critical Mass, and it has up to 5% CBD and I think something like 21% THC. I do think it is good for pain but the CBD blunts the high. Which when that is the ONLY weed we have right now, I am missing that. My tolerance is through the roof. Got a bit of a forced tolerance break coming up Thursday with all day air travel, because really, the options for using on the way there are pretty slim and edibles can make me throw up.
Anyways, you may want to consider that strain. It is a workhorse of a strain and not glamorous but the buds were huge and each bud, other than kolas, were about the size of a plumb and could get double the Js rolled than average size buds. It is a no fuss strain, too.

Thanks Miss Gee. I might have a look at that one. I have a Critical Kush and a Critical Strawberry Banana and I believe they are both 1-5% CBD - very keen to try them. They are supposed to produce large colas too - they look like they will be a good 12" tall and really fat! If they hit as expected, I will explore the Critical line further.

Well here I am - just shy of 6 weeks of flower and everything is exploding!

I’ve started to defoliate at this stage as well and I’ve noticed an increase in my bud size but this is still uncharted territory for me mate so going to sit on the wing here. Looking good though

Thanks mate. I’m thinking I will be fine - I would be selective. There are some falling leaves at the bottom of the canopy - so I know there is minimal light there right now.

That’s where I’m at. I pick off the weak ones for the same reason than scout about to see whats next. No real method just snip here and chop there

I’m looking forward to some quiet time tonite to get some better shots. The coating on the Strawberry Banana is starting to look white! I haven’t had the microscope on them yet as it has been a bit early. But now that the pistils are starting to get some colour, so it is starting to get interesting.
I haven’t done any clones this time. It looks like my back surgery is going to be be fairly soon after I finish this grow. So rathr than have the hassle, figured it would make more sense to get the cure right - and get my ‘medicine cabinet’ properly stocked.
I will probably start a one or two strain grow once my surgery is done. I figure that it should make it easy to manage and still get a short veg forest. Smaller pots, 3-4 week veg with basic training should be achievable.
I will have to go see how your little shrubbery is going!

Sick kid does a major defol at 21 and 42 days in flower so you should be good Brother.

I will get some pictures later when the light’s come on. Could be a nice time to try some table top growing. Something like a smallish dwc type grow. It would save all that bending mate

Thanks for the tag Plants look awesome ! I have never had a problem with overall yield by taking a few for bettet light penetration. Also tuck a few. I have noticed the difference in the strains. Some can require a little more than others to keep good airflow and light penetration down through the plant. Just my thoughts good luck.
