She’s definitely ripe. I’ll be tucking her in for about 36-38 hours of darkness at lights out tonight, depending on how early I get up Monday. And then I’ll sneak up on her and cut her down in the dark after thanking her for her hard work. She’ll hang for a week, then go into jars for curing, and then I’ll get rewarded for my hard work.

Chilli (Lemon Skunk fem) is sitting in the dark today, to be harvested tomorrow. Mama Left Eye (Lemon Skunk fem, mother) is enjoying her day off, too. But that’s not why I’m here. Lil Sebastian is a Lil Kim!
I’m over the moon. I wasn’t even looking for it. I was adjusting some bondage, and she just whipped them out and showed me. This makes my day.

Holy crap, am I tired?! Harvest day, trimmed, drying, trim is in freezer (the real one that’s cold). Left Eye got one more round of clones chopped/started, then she got culled. She just got too bushy and woody for me to do anything with, and it’s tough hauling a 2’ plant into my buddy’s place without his wife seeing lol! She served her purpose. That gave Lil Kim (Lil Sebastian dispensary bag seed…so stoked) new digs. She can fill out and chill out there until Chilli has vacated the flowzer. It hurt to cut Chilli down. I’m finally getting this. The first time around felt almost like euthanasia lol! But for real, it was emotional to kill something I put so much work into, and to take from her what she put so much work into. Could be the scissor hash talking. Maybe I’m just that tired…here are some pictures:

Thanks for posting the whole process in sequence @elheffe702…That is really going to help me as I zero in on my first harvest. It is a bit of a mystery until you have done it once, it seems. You have pulled the curtain back just a little bit and given some of us new growers a peek.
Great harvest, I can hardly wait until you post the dryed/cured weight. Really looking forward to reading your smoke report. Or, are you a bit beyond such anticipation at this stage as a grower?
