Best lights for grow box

A question from a fellow grower:

i have a question for ya i built a little grow box its about 4"high x2 and a half feet"wide x and 3" deep i have 4 100 wt cfl’s will this be enuff light? Or should i just get a led? If led what size would be good? Thank you so much this will be my first time growing indoors and was on a budget ill w-mail u a pic of it when im done i think i did ok…you tell me? so any advice would be greatly greatly appreciated

I think your measurements are posted incorrectly. I do not believe you are growing in a 3" high box…Do you mean 3’?

Overall; Sounds like you have a great idea to start with and can build from there as you become more experioenced
