1st time auto grower. Need some advice on the changing of color to amber. Seems like it’s turning color’s way before I expected. Today is Day 50 out of ground. Using foxfarm soil and their nutrients. If someone could guide me on the changing color-to soon or what should I do at this point. I will try to post pics. Thx for any and all help with this question. GSC EXTREME AUTO

In ur opinion does all look fine to u? Any suggestions at this point?

they look great, you need a jewelers loupe or usb microscope to see tbe trichs
Hey they look great! I see amber pistils but still a lot of new white ones coming out. You’ll need a magnifying glass or microscope to see the trichomes.

My auto showed some amber on her sugar leaves long long before she was ready. This plant is no where near ready yet.
Expect her to go about 12 weeks minimum - and that’s from breaking soil. So you have at least a month, in my opinion.

They look great but seems like they habe some weeks to go still as they havent filled in fully and you have alot of white pistils left still
My mistake, I didn’t mean Trichomes, thx for correction, Pistils is what i was referring to but it’s the trichomes i need to be monitoring as far as when I think i should harvest. My mistake. 1st time post. Never tried the Auto’s till this 3rd grow. Can u tell me roughly at this point of 50 days out of ground about how many days from beginning to harvest?

Minimum of 30 days. Mine was harvested on day 84 iirc, and she was considered “fast”.

Thanks for all ur help. I do have a Jeweler’s Loupe that just came in. 40x mag. 25mm lens dia. It has LED and Ultraviolet lamp. I don’t have a clue as to which lamp I should use here.
Use the LED. It will light up the field of view you need. Practice, it takes some getting used to. Take a stationary position close to the plant and move the loupe to bring it in focus.
Oh yeah urs looks good!! Now I have a better idea as to about when ready for harvest. Thank you and everyone for the advice. Much appreciated

I do have 1 more question but its about my 1st 2 grows. Feminized White Widow & Blue Dream. The quality was fantastic but disappointed in the quantity. Any suggestions on this that may help me with a better quantity? I will get more off this AUTO by the looks than the 2 feminized gave me.
