LED brand review

What kind of worms? I was thinking of puttin some red wrigglers in my pot and see how the castings and aeration helped.

Yea i do use earthworm castings (so at first i thought wtf)… I think they are gnat/fruit fly or something larvae (kinda whiteish opaque) . As i do have the flying tiny guys as well.

Here is the worm thread… Pics of worms are there.

Just got two 300w MarsHydro LEDs tonight. Got them setup in my veg tent for now. I’m not sure whether to add them in my flower tent, or keep them in the veg tent? @yoshi @iva got any advice for me?

I think going into the cold months what are your possibilities , but space is everything when it comes to Temperture , you might want to try a dry run to see how the two lights will coincide your temperatures in that grow space with the cold weather , but if you can keep everything in the right ranges , I would say flower room cause led lights give better tasting buds and more moist and dense than HPS being airy and fluffy .

That’s just my opinion compared to my quality and my Hydro buddies quality with HPS lights , but if you can manage temps by using central air unit , than I say flower tent for sure and being in Hydro you get that light green color buds that most consider premium dank just by its color .

The best bit about getting two 300w verses one 600w is you do have choices
There would not be a problem moving one to the flower tent if you feel you need to
My veg area did run purely on one 300w, I even got tomatoes from other plants in there at the same time
I have a pure veg orientated 150w true power draw LED running at half power atm.
Was too much light at full power but I am going to veg my next grow in there to see if it helps

I was wrong its not pure veg closer to 60/40 veg flower and has a pink look to the light
I am getting lights mixed up but this light does well for a 150w
works well in the fridge and is about right at half power for holding clones and seedling until they are ready for flower
This isn’t my pic same light though

Actually i do have just like that it also reads ph…
I was able to kill several with a water/hydrogen peroxide mix anyone ever done this? Good/bad?

Is vitamin D milk ok or is this a bad thing?

I have been using a capful per gallon of water of bug/mold/root system from ILGM (didn’t prevent these, prolly don’t apply to worms tho). And I mix it all together ok?

And 1st knuckle is too dry then you are saying? Do you go to dry edge then water?

The gnat nix has quite the mixed reviews on amazon… I’ll be interested to hear your results?

Yes @yoshi do lmk.

Give me your thoughts on my soil mix?
Spagnum peat moss
Perlite
Bloodmeal
Earthworm castings
(i also just started adding silica sand)
Coming soon to a pot plant theater near you : DE and Neem oil.

(mix well, bake at 350 wait wrong recipe) strike that

How do you like those? I didn’t get that brand because it doesn’t have uv and ir. I got a GalaxyHydro for 99$, the larger one, and I love it.

I got them from Vic for 2 grams, 4 seeds, and $20. It was a steal for me! I still have 12 seeds saved up, all different strains, so it was an amazing deal for me! I plan on buying these other LEDs that I can get for $35 after my coupon from AMZ. They’re 300w just like the MarsHydro, but they have IR and UV. Planning on having 3-4 300w LEDs for my 5’x5’ flower tent. Still got my 600w MH for my flower tent, same size.

@careg I love them! Temps are down and I couldn’t be happier! Every day, 73-77F. But I’ll definitely upgrade next year! I’ll keep these around for extra lighting forever. I have my extra 600w HPS just sitting in a corner now. No more 600w HPS in the flower tent means no more fan for the air cooled hood!

Their lights look ok but I have no experience with them and the fluro’s on the sides are a waste of time and money
They are over exaggerating the numbers. never trust a seller that uses watts as the selling point its a waste of time with LEDs and they are useing the outdated red blue light output no or very little white light
They look like a Kind knock off and they are pricey you can get the same light for less
If you have the cash get the SKing 400 or 600 I would get 2 400s if that was the way i was going.
You will get a better light making your own still, It will be cheaper to buy, cheaper to run and you will get better plants with DIY units.

I have one and don’t recommend them, anyway the one I have which is a 450 from about 6 months ago.The newest model may be different. On Amazon it Showa to omit that purplish light which has the red and blue look.
Mine just appears white. It does have some blue and red diodes in it but it doesn’t give off that color you see with my E Shine which is a high priced one direct from China.
But it has a timer and controls for all phases of growth development.
The new Vipers have bloom and veg switch on them. When I wrote the company they said the color didn’t mater it would work anyway.I don’t agree. You can try it on an auto and if it don’t work well send it back. They are very inexpensive compared to others and have good diods in them.So I say go for it and if the autos don’t do well send it back.I started to get a new Vipra and send my old one back, they are identical except for veg switch and appear to omit the right spectrum from what I see on Amazon.I use mine for extra light its light weight and runs cool.Let me know what u think if you get one.
Good luck and grow on
