im confused do the fish live in the nutrient solution…

very interesting… and its ok that they swim all around inside of the solution like that all the time? specific type of fish? does the food you feed the fish change the" solution" depending on the material contents of the fish food? like different brands of fish food?
In an " you are what you eat " way yes but most commercial fish food is balanced to what most fish need so not earthshaking different. Aquaponics mimics nature we’re not eyes deep in fish waist because bacteria break it down then plants use that to grow trapping those substances in their bodies so the water is clean again.

Hey there! I had the idea to try out fogponics with growing MJ. It’s awesome to see such a successful system, all built at home.
Would you happen to have a list of resources I should use to learn this all myself? I’d love to learn everything, no shortcuts. At this point, I’m not sure where to start.
