What does it mean if the fan leaves on a flowering plant turn yellow?

You are nutrient deficient or have a lockout. If you have been feeding, then ph in root zone is most likely off.

A flowering plant moves the stored nutes in the fan leafs to the bud sites where it is needed.

Both dbrn & outdooring are correct it just depends on how far along your plant is in it’s flowering stage.

I’m indoors and 52 days into flower. One has a fair number of yellow leaves but my other plant is bigger and very green yet. Hard to figure!

Same strain?

They’re both supposed to be the same, but aren’t. The greenest one is a Sativa. Not sure about the other one.
