Plants are growing well in hydro (deep water culture) but woke up to find this…
I am feeding half the amount of nutrients that Fox Farms - Grow Big recommends as most posts recommend.
Please help… I don’t want to lose my plants… growing for medicinal for my wife who has cancer.
Thanks,
Bubba
Hey I’m sorry but I don’t have any experience with hydro. Although if I understand it correctly you should be feeding with what the manufacturer recommends since in hydro there are no nutrients in the soil for the plant to uptake.
Maybe @Aquaponic_Dumme @Donaldj @Majiktoker can offer some better insight.
I suspect your ph may be giving you some grief
Thanks, I appreciate your comments… most of the websites of growing hydro marijuana say to use 1/2 the recommended the first few weeks to slower bring the nutrients in so you don’t shocj the plants
Thanks for your link and reply… So I need to go out and buy some zinc for hydro ?
Actually what I would like to know is your ph and ppm/tds/EC whichever you are using to adjust your nutrient solution? it is very hard to pick out a cause with only picture to go from
Yeah makes total sense! Like I said I have no experience with hydro lol.
Let us know what is your ph in the res and what is your tds. You can be locking out certain nutrients if you aren’t in the correct ph range (see attached)
I think it’s (ph) about 6… but I have a digital PH tester coming today
and hopefully that will shed light on everything… THANKS
