Very informative site! I’m on my 1st grow and have 2 WW in soil. I’m at week 10 of flower with cfl. One plant has 5-8% amber trics and a few Nanners.,. the other is 90-% milky 10% clear Tricomes. I got all freaked out about the nanners and harvested that cola🤔
As far as tricomes go I’m waiting for another 10% amber before harvest. My colas are small for a plant 10 weeks into flower, but that’s all about me being a newbie. Should I give it up to another 2 weeks?
I’m betting their size is due to a lack of lighting. But congrats on getting this far. First harvest is a milestone either way. I think the experts will say ignore the time and just harvest when the trichomes tell you to. But congrats again for making it to the end!
Welcome to the family and good job getting this far. If you like a couch lock high let them Amber a little more. If not, your almost there.
Not at all interested in couch lock! So judging from these pics am I due to harvest in the next day or two?
Also I am a very part time smoker and do it only when having a lot of pain, only 45 and diagnosed with arthritis and thoracic Outlet Syndrome… not fun for an avid outdoors(wo)man!
The plant is so close for a high that’s more energetic ok to have a little amber but not to much. I just harvested 2 plants one with a little amber and one with no amber and they are both great 2 hits good high 3 hits sit down and wait for the peak to settle down 4 hits to high
Yup. Those are some lovely cloudy trichs. Great photos. And a little more lighting would go a looong way. Make sure u read around n do you research befor investing tho. And most importantly ask questions! Only bad question is the unasked one!

Thanks PurpNGold74! I am definitely interested in adding more light but I’m on a tight budget. I also have 2 small clones from these girls, currently recovering from an over spray of bug spray😬. I’m not a pro photographer but take pride in my photography ( been doing that for years but it doesn’t pay the bills like my day job!)
