Would you remove these leaves?

Just curious, I put this plant into flower a couple days ago, and I’m considering removing these 4 leaves that I put a red spot on. Good idea, or not. I don’t normally have plants this short and bushy. OG kush.

Possibly, but before i did that i would LST the plant first to open her up and only remove leaves that are still hindering light.

On the other hand if your planning on growing her out naturally like an xmas tree. Then yes id remove those leaves. Although, removing them now isnt going to help much. There are no flowering nodes being blocked out right now.

I retract that. After looking again id remove them. Id still try some lst to open her up though. Very tight growth going on and she needs a little assitance. Excellent growth so far great work.

I’d start here too. Pull the outer branches down and away from the stalk. See where you are afterwards.

I did FIM it a few days ago.

Has the recovery sprouted yet? Maybe let the new growth appear first.

She had some fan leaves clipped early. when LST ties (orange) added.

Were you going for a traditional lst or for shaping the grow? I dig the pattern

I usually FIM them, and as everything grows out, I bend the branches as I see fit to get the most benefit from the light. Or I’ll use a net. I like to keep the canopy even. Those four leaves are completely covering 4 branches.

Then yeah id remove or tuck them. Tucking is always the better route but sometimes its just not possible.

@Dexterado those are some nice big solar panels. Since you just put her into flower, if you can get her opened up a bit, I would leave them til the 21 day defol if that is something you do. Let us know which way you went.
