My temperature gauge fell off the line.

What do I do :(((((((
Easy peasey: put a drop of honey or fresh aloe in the break, wrap with electrical tape. Done.
Get good at it because it happens all the time and we’ve all done it. Plant will form a knuckle and be even stronger than original. I think I only have one break on mine this time haha.
Just pull it together with a twist tie or a zip tie but you have to remove within a week.
Any time; that’s an easy fix. They are tough and bounce back quick.
Some folks use honey or aloe…I mostly just wire or tywrap the split so it doesn’t go any further.
I don’t put anything on the damaged part but most folks do, it seems.
I did this to my current Strawberry Cough, that was a couple of weeks ago. That plant is doing just as well if not better than the unbroken plants.
Short answer, patch it together in any manor that suits you and the plant will likely do great! During veg they can take a great deal of abuse and even thrive as a result.
The plant that I split down the middle of the main stalk is circled
Great job! on the patch…
Believe it or not, it will work, I broke 2 and used electric tape as mentioned by our friends, those 2 plants actually grew more robust than others. You have done well, looks good
good idea to get some…band aids also suffice…it will heal !
What does the honey do to the plant to help? I put some in the middle of the cut . @merlin44
I am not certain what the honey does but I suspect that it mostly acts as an antiseptic and a barrier to microbes and pests while the plant heals.
@Myfriendis410 @Holmes @elheffe702 @dbrn32 might know more about this.
stops infection setting in, honey was used by humans in days of olde as an antiseptic, it works real well on burns…
Yep, seals it off, sort of.
