Never heard of worms in the soil, but I’d just dump them on top they will squirrel themselves down into the medium…

You can feed them with a spoonful of old coffee grounds from time to time.
Dont overdo it as the grounds are acidic.
Worms feed in the top two inches of soil so just mix the grounds in a little bit on top.

Make sure they are not canadien or require temps below 50 to live. Southern nightcrawlers can take the heat.

I mix my supersoil up in 55 gallon drums and let them ferment so to speak a couple months, when done I dump some of my local earthworms into the drum. When I harvest my plants I see live worms still in the dirt. They help aerate and fertilize the mainly peat and compost mix I make.

Thanks everyone who had some great info. I shall read up more on the bin and compost.
