Worlds Nicest Person

So I sold this guy some freezers last year and he said he was a caretaker, that’s why he needed the freezers.
I contacted him when my grow turned out to be a male plant and met up with him last week. He is hands down the coolest dude I know. He literally gave me 100+diesel dipped cookies, 93 sour diesel, and 2 kimbo kush seeds. He said they’re all feminized…except the kimbo, I hope he’s right but I don’t even care… at least I have something to grow again! Super excited! Can’t wait to start my new journals!

Awesome! Love people like that, just when you think people (in general) can not be the nicest, someone like that man comes along and restores some faith, its very uplifting (for both people). it will be a great grow

@deb1. Exactly.

Anyone else plant by the moon schedules…or tried it and seen a difference?

It just so happens i read an article on here bout that and my autoflower was about 4 weeks when it was full moon and went into flower, now it could just be coincedence or not. but i like to think it had something to do with it. i will see if i can find the article link
:cherry_blossom:
OK i dont think i can put the link up but if you google >> moon_cycle_can_influence_your_weed_cultivation you should be able to read it
:cherry_blossom:

I’ll look for it. I’ve read about it more for vegetable gardens. If it’s a root veg plant on new moon so the roots basically don’t have as much pull from the moon. It’s supposed to give them a better start. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with cannabis. New moon allows stronger faster rooting and the full moon pulls the seedling up faster-for above ground fruiting plants. I planted on the 5th and the seedling is probably 2" or so tall right now, so maybe it helps. I’ll make notes in the journals from now on with the moon phase when planted. I’ve heard elders talking about it so there’s probably some truth to it. The moon effects the oceans so why not plants? Could be a good tool that’s been mostly forgotten.

That will be something im interested in reading for sure @Legalinmaine. last couple of days my auto sedlings have powered on and its a full moon tonight, but again maybe its a coinedence because they got transplanted last week, but the growth last two days has been significant. maybe you should do one not in moonlight and one in just to have a comparison. If you do a grow journal on here tag me in it plz

I’m just going to do two plants this time as I veg way longer than most people to get a big healthy plant before flowering. Next grow I’ll plant on a new moon and it will be the same conditions and strains. That way I’ll already have the journals from these two. I’ll tag everyone that’s interested once the seedlings get along a bit more. This one and the following grows should be very decent as I have everything that I need and more. Including extra light now for later in the grow. My friend gave me a new 500w induction light today with two different color bulbs. I don’t want to use it until at least after the 2nd month of veg. Too much for the little seedlings now I would think. They’re starting 3’ under a 300w led right now. I was going to do first month under 1 led and then add the other 300w led, then the blue induction, and finish with the pink induction bulb. No use flooding it with an over abundance of light when it can’t use all of it. I don’t have dimmers so I have to add one light at a time… sound right?

Ok so I haven’t really started the journal yet but I thought I’d show the sour diesel seedling anyway because it is growing super fast(to me anyway) -an inch a day now, it just broke the surface Friday night… maybe I’m just too excited and it’s totally normal, either way it’s going well so far lol.

I may be wrong, but you may need to put your light closer, it looks a little stretched.
@bob31 @Matthew420 these guys will let us know if im wrong

I know, I can’t get over how nice he is. I helped him with his atrium today but he didn’t owe me anything…I was just helping to be nice. Cool

Yeah I’m thinking it’s stretching too I just turned on the other led about an hour ago… each one is 300w, 130w actual draw. I’m not sure if each is equal to 300 or 500w as it’s led and a little different from other lighting. I put the other one directly over it as the other was kind of over my kale-not directly over the seedling. Well, what do you think? Should I put this in soon and just keep it at max height away from the seedlings for now?

It’s a monster…
