Withered One Side

I have just been to check my ladies and I got a bit of a shock.
I have 2 main branches and everything

on one side has withered. They were fine yesterday.
There appears to be no obvios damage to that side.
Anyone have an idea whats going on?

If it’s an entire branch and that’s all that’s affected my guess is there is damage somewhere. Check closely where the branch meets the trunk for any breaks.

Also check for bugs boring into that branch base.

Thanks guys I will have a close inspection in the morning.
The bug idea makes sense. Bit of a storm about 2 months ago and it did split abit during it. I taped it up and supported the branch better and everything was fine, been growing nicely ever since. That’s why I didn’t mention it.
Is it game over for that side do you think?

Very likely. Check for a fungal infection when you check it.
Honey or aloe will help in future with any breaks. Natural antibacterials.

Thanks for the tip, I have loads of Aloe in the garden, a very handy plant to have (great for sunburn).
I think I found the culprit. The split has healed really nicely, as I said, it was weeks ago so almost entirely forgot about it. The first pics show the split.
Just a few inches above it and just before the part where everything has wilted is a puffy patch of branch that feels very soft. I don’t recall her ever suffering damage in that area.
