Winter Indoor Garage Temps

So, after a little bit of Amazon searching, I came across this guy.

3x8 heating pad that hard wires into a thermostat.

What do you guys think??

That is a fine idea! Only thing is, the thermostat is in the house, the garage temp will be different. You’ll still get heat every time the heater kicks on for the house, so not a waste.

Maybe I could use a battery powered thermostat and wire it inside the tent?? Idk… I’m not an HVAC guy.

I am sure you could wire a separate thermostat in, but those are low voltage systems, then you have to power them somehow. Make sure you check with someone who knows.

They do sell wireless tstats you would need to check control voltage for the heater mat o guessing it’s line voltage if so a line voltage thermostat would be needed unless you could do control wiring with relays etc
I could draw a wiring diagram up for you if I had all the info @LV2GRW sorry been supper busy just saw your post
They use the mats ate used in electric radiant heat
You find them on bathroom and what not
Doea your garage have insulated wall ?
