Window ac and c02

Hey peeps! Grow room get a little hot and I’m thinking about turning on my windows ac but I’m afraid it will suck out my c02 I’m giving the girls. What do you guys think a window ac will suck a lot of c02 or little enough not to notice idk :man_shrugging: I do have a duel hoes ac unit but don’t wanna set that think up lol

Thanks :metal:t5:

A regular window shouldnt remove youe spaces air. A portable ac with a single hose will remove your co2.

A window AC should have a setting (usually a slide lever) that allows you to switch between recirculate or drawing fresh air, put it on recirculate and it should not mess with the air mix in the house besides pulling out humidity…

The typical window unit does not exhaust room air to the outside. Also the addition of CO2 does nothing for indoor plants unless the grow space is sealed tight and several other grow parameters are changed as well. Its a waste of money and depending on how its done it can be dangerous.

I’m using aCo2 bag for the first time, is there any thing I should know. I have a 32x32x63 grow tent whit 3 plants
Is that to much for them?

Welcome to the forum.
It wont hurt anything. There is more than enough CO2 in normal atmosphere for plants. I have been growing since 2018 in a locked office with no added co2 and never had any issues. Plants grow fast and big. I have one hvac register which I keep closed to keep the heat down and it still presents enough air to keep it fresh. So basically the bag wont hurt anything, but its contribution wont make any difference. Spend your money on other things.
