Wilted sugar leaves week 5 flower

Anyone have thoughts on what would be the cause of these Grandiguava sugar leaves wilting? This and my last run they did the same thing. Last runs flowers stayed pretty small and didn’t fully develop. The rest of the garden looks great which are Gelatti and Puta Breath.

Growing in plastic pots with coco/perlite. Drain to waist, every 24 hours. PH between 5.8 - 6.2
HLG 650r LED fixtures 30" distance.

Thinking it maybe over watering? pots are not drying out.

It’s hard, nearly impossible, to over water in coco. It’s more likely she’s not taking I’m the water as she should. Maybe a root or root zone issue? I’m sure someone can tell you exactly what’s going on, but I wouldn’t worry about over watering. Coco is meant to be watered to runoff at least once a day.

Thanks for the quick reply outlaw! We switched to coco due to the cost of Grodan mini cubes these days. The brand is Tupur and it seams to hold water more than it should or in past runs the mini cubes. Good call on the root zone, although as I mentioned all the other strains are doing fine, It’s only all the Grandi’s that are showing the leaf issue.

The clawing and leaf tip pointing down is usually a symptom of nitrogen overload :love_you_gesture:

OG, thanks for the reply! So your thinking the Grandiguava is more sensitive to Nitrogen than the Gelatti and Puta Breathin the garden, is this possible?

Could be, do you have recent run off PH and PPMs for this plant :love_you_gesture:

I could check on tomorrows feeding but I feed at 6.0 (5.8 - 6.2) haven’t checked the run off recently.
It’s all of the Grandi’s two tables worth, sixteen girls not just one. Again the other 32 are looking great!

I suspect a root zone issue?? What nutrients are you using and feeding to ample run off each time? Salts from synthetic fertilizer can accumulate in the root zone crashing the PH,this is where run off helps rinse those away from the previous feeding :love_you_gesture:

Post a few overall plant pics Grow Bro :love_you_gesture:

What size pots? I agree that with mature plants in coco and normal conditions its difficult to keep them wet most of the time. Too much nitrogen or vpd issue will make them claw, but i don’t think this is either. Something else probably keeping it from taking water and roots are lacking oxygen because of it.

Overall view of the canopy

Hi, 7 gallon with Tupur coco mix. We had the same issue last run with this strain. In the end the top flowers didn’t bulk and the lower were small. No larf, just smaller than what we hoped for.

GH 3 part plus Magnum and Flora. We flush water only (double volume) every 4th feeding and then do a res with added Hygrozme and Great White for a final flush. Every feeding has a good run off.

This indoor grow? 7 gallons of coco for indoor is huge, i don’t use anything bigger than 3 indoors. Some strains are known to not be great producers, could be the case. That’s not responsible for leaves though.

The indoor system we use has produced great results, 2 pound per light is the goal. Have met or exceeded pretty much every run. This strain is new to us and seams it chokes out week 5 for what ever reason. Thought I would reach out to other growers for any thoughts…
