My plant has been kept more around the 5.5 to 5.8 mark for most of its life. Trichomes on this plant are now all milky/opaque to look at. I snuck a little bud or two off the plant, dried smoked and coughed my arse off… I see I shoulda been hitting for 5.8 to 6.0 more so… plants thriving but.
Ph effects the way a plant uptakes nutrients
I suppose it can also effect the taste
Did you flush or feed right till the end ?
Also uncured smoke will be harsh

That was still being fed. Am 5days into flushing now. And to be honest was dried in a bowl over steam.
Ya gota cure it first ….The proof of your bud is at the end of your cure as @Countryboyjvd1971 stated.
