Why shouldn't I water from above?

Hello everyone,

My question stems from being an outdoor grower. Rain doesn’t care, it washes from the top down.

I have heard that when light hits the water droplets on leaves, it can burn them. Perhaps, but wait a minute!

We are called The Sunshine State. I honestly believe the name stems from the fact that we can have heavy rain with the sun still out shining bright as ever!

I have some of my own thoughts, but figured I’d see what others may think. It seems like it could be a good discussion, but we’ll see.

Thanks for stopping by…

As an outdoor grower, I’ll be waiting to see who chimes in and what they have to say , as you have stated the rain washes from top down.
