Just a little surgery stress, she’ll be fine in a few days
More pictures please my friend. Close up but not too ckose of where you say you “top or fimed her”. A back up picture like one of whole plant too and another one of concerned area. Hard to tell from that pic alone. But yes can be normal stress and drooping/wilting because if it. She will bounce back.
Just a little cola madness going on.
Is that where u fimmed? If so, those leaves were probably torn in the process. They wont recover completely but no other leaves (unless they were also torn) should be affected.
But if not, sometimes cannabis just grows funkily. Actually a trait to be hunted for in DJ Short’s Blueberry.
Does anyone know what these rust spots are… i just put this tent into flower and came home to this on the leaves.
@PurpNGold74 nitrogen toxicity without the waxy look maybe?? The curling of the leaves in the shape make me believe it’s like wind damage or something of some sort
The downward bend of leaf tips and the dark green gloss of the leaves makes me think you are pushing the plants’ nitrogen limits.
As for the brown spots. These pics are from drcannabisDOT io / symtoms
Hey @Shaner1983 those buckets look familiar to me!! They look very healthy and seem to be thriving. There are a few things I’ve found that work well for me.
- Keep your pH in check. 5.8-6.2 is what I shoot for.
- Follow the feed chart for your nutrients.
- Keep air flowing in from the bottom and out for the top of you grow area.
- Keep your water under 69deg.
- Take care of your roots. Roots need love to, Hydroguard or some other Root inoculant.
- Monitor temperature and humidity to ensure proper VPD.
I’ve had a set of Aqua Spas running for a few grows now. Replaced a couple GH Water farms nodes. I thought I’d miss the top drip rings but now I appreciate the fact I have no splash around my grow now.
If you’ve been using Hydroponics for a few grows you probably know how fast they respond and the explosive growth.

For your leaf could be pH or maybe heat or nutrient issues. Time to fill out a ticket and let’s get down to the brass tacks.
Hey thanks for the responses guys! .
Ill try add more info from now on.
I use general hydroponics 3 part micro gro bloo.
General hydroponics ph up and down.
Hydro guard
Cal mag
Follow nute chart for General hydroponics mild nute feed chart
It said to lower cal mag to 9 ml per 3.5 gallon for flower. Was at 17.5 ml calmag for veg
All dwc buckets no reservoir.
Water is a little warm i dont have a cooler so i change water more regular top up with RO cold water
Safers 3 in 1 for thrips and pest
I keep ph at 5.8 to 6 i check and adjust when lights come on
First hydro grow also and first indoor
This is probably the problem. I dont know why people recommend cutting calmag in flower… i only really seem to need it after flipping lights. Id up that back and u should be fine.
Haha @beardless, easy to recognize now aint it.
@PurpNGold74 I know for me personally, I’ve read and seen on YouTube that cal-mag late in flower is unnecessary, also it can have negative effects on the plant if it’s being fed cal-mag late in flower. Idk how true this is, I’m the first person to say I’m a rookie and don’t know everything, but that’s why I stop using it in flower. So should I start adding cal-mag again to my GG4. I’d say it’s in it’s last week
Calcium Nitrate (most calmag’s contain this as the Calcium additive) contains (it really IS) Nitrogen. So adding more in late flower will possibly throw N toxicity signs. But Id rather have a bit extra N then not enough Calcium or Magnesium.
Also I start supplementing CalMag at the flip. Rarely do I see cal or mag deficiency before a few days after flip. By week 8-9 u can start taking away various things normally. Not just calmag. Normally im done with the 5-1-1 (NPK) emulsion so calmag would be the only source of N they are getting. And just a lil N is fine all the way thru (til flushing/water only)
Bet, good looking out bro forreal
