Our plant was fine in the A.M. When my husband came home 5 hrs later, It looked like someone poisoned it. It was outside and about 4 ft and starting to bud. Now it looks all wilted or overwatered. What could have happened so fast?

can you post a picture please that would help alot
Whenever I’ve seen something like this happen it’s usually from drainage being blocked somehow. The plant can’t get oxygen to the roots and dies within hours. Was the soil wet? A pic should help.
