Did you make up the organic soil or did you buy it? If purchased, what is it?

I’m assuming you do not own a PH meter or TDS meter. You can’t supplement without knowing what is happening in the root zone.

Can you provide us with the actual plug wattage rather than what the manufacturer told you.

Looks like N toxicity which means a flush but with out having a TDS meter it will be just guessing.

Yes I do have Both meters. I use my ph meter all the time.I have never used the TDS because I don’t know exactly how to use it.
The soil:

My Grow room:

TDS meter reads out electrical conductivity of a fluid and is called ‘EC’: this ouputs in millisiemens and is then converted (multiplied by 500) to give you an approximate PPM.

When you water, nutes should be mixed using both the PH and TDS meter. It worries me when someone says:

So exactly what is it?

If supplementing, TDS meter measures input liquid and you adjust the TDS to whatever PPM’s the manufacturer recommends. Personally I try to not go over 900 ppm or so with most lines.

You did not answer this question: is this commercially produced soil, is it designed for cannabis, or did you blend it yourself? This is important.

Finally when you do water, always water to runoff, capture the last 1/4 cup or so and measure both PH and TDS: this will tell you how well plant is consuming salts and can also direct you in your feeding/watering regimen: it’s very important data.

Still need to know the actual wattage draw from the wall on your lights. While you’re at it: tent size and number of plants too.

Seriously: give me all the information that I asked for if you are serious about help.

I already showed you this but maybe you didn’t see it…I bought my Organic soil from “Reefertilizer.com

I’m looking up the rest of your questions.

Do I need to make sure to water enough for water to drain? I thought I’d be over watering if I did it every feeding?! As I said, I’m Still new at growing so please be patient with me ::hugs:

When plant is larger than the pot diameter you can water to runoff. If in soil, allow to dry out almost to wilting before watering again. If in soilless, water daily to runoff.

What made you choose the soil you have now? Is it something optimized for cannabis? Or a general organic potting soil? The reason I ask is unless it’s adjusted for the PH range of cannabis you will run into issues with it during flower. There are specific PH buffers added to cannabis soil. If not available in your area a good rule of thumb is to buy for tomatoes.

I think you are probably okay with that soil assuming PH is in the correct range (6.0 to 7.0) and you can determine this for yourself by putting 1/4 cup or so into a container and add a cup or so of distilled water. Has to be distilled. Allow to stand for 10 minutes then measure liquid with PH meter.

I already have Distilled water on my list. I’ve been looking at videos on using the TDS meter as well… Thanks for sharing your knowledge :bangbang::hugs:
