Why are my leaves on the bottom so droopy? The plant

Why do my leaves keep being droopy on the bottom, Even when I know the plant is not thirsty because I just watered it yesterday. Maybe it is due to the lack of nutrients. They are there in Foxfarm happy frog and I will eventually be giving them the FF Trio. Currently they are just on big bloom. What do you think is causing this should I be giving them the full trio now ?? They are maybe 3 weeks into flowering.this is the only plant that is having this issue. But I am a rookie and the plants seem like they still have a while to go. I don’t know I could use some help lol. ALSO ARE THOSE FRICTION BURNS ON THE LEAVES OR IS THAT NUTE BURN?

Hey @Dabmon710 happy growing, Welcome.
There are plenty of people here to help.
The bright/neon green growth may be a sign of Nitrogen deficiency…also look like she is possibly over-watered, leaves look a little water heavy. Hopefully a few of these members below can help you out more specifically.Looks like you’re in a tent too?
@Covertgrower @MrPeat @Myfriendis410 @Budz420 @Zee @GreenFlex hey guys, can y’all help Dabmon?

Can you answer this support ticket as well to help everyone diagnose your issue?

  • What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed
  • Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
  • Vessels: Pots, Grow beds, Buckets, Troths
  • PH of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
  • PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable
  • Indoor or Outdoor
  • Light system
  • Temps; Day, Night
  • Humidity; Day, Night
  • Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size
  • AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,
  • Co2; Yes, No

Always try to upload a clear picture of any issues you may have to allow the community to assist you.

You mean veggie stage? I see no signs of flowering.

Wait for others to respond, overall that plant looks over-watering to me. Get @DankBank22 support ticket filled out.

Nute burn typically starts at the tip of leaves.

@Dabmon710 Kinda looks like the start of Calcium and Magnesium Deficiency. You are in FF Happy Frog and you need to use Cal-mag.

Yeah your probably correct. My plants are about 2 1/2 months old. I shocked them a lil in the beginning too. But if you saw the tops they have buds growing nothing crazy but it’s in early stages.

Yep. Sort of. It’s excessive nitrogen. That’s what’s causing the leaves to have curved downward. We call it “clawing”. The lime green growth is rapidly growing part of the plant, and will turn darker green as it ages in a week Less.

Recommend halving whatever dose you’ve been giving it.

@Covertgrower Just for you…

A support ticket would help.

It does look like nitrogen toxicity, but big bloom contains zero N, and happy frog is probably inert at this point.

Do you have pics of the whole plant?

The leaves look a little beat up, but not seeing anything that jumps out at me. Unless you guys are seeing something I’m missing. lol

Lots of wind can cause that, as well as the misshaped leaves. Overwatering can also do that to leaves.

A pic of the whole plant will help… and, you know, the support ticket.

I know what phosphorus deficiency but the rest I am trying to learn. Hard when you don’t ever have these issues so I got to go by what others post. :pensive:

Thanks for the tag @DankBank22
I’m still in veg on my first grow - but yes it is in soil and a tent. I could only suggest nutrients in general. Mine are drinking water only at the moment - and happy.
I’ll see what the more knowledgeable say - and learn.

Hope you get it sorted either way!

I shocked them in the beginning by giving them some big bloom they were way to young. And I had them I shitty pots and transplanted them way to early. But they are much happier now. Been giving them 6.5 ph water. I do have a co2 but I don’t even run it thay much, I’m going to get a Co2 bag but I have animals around and another person with the door opened so I feel( might be wrong) that they get enough co2 at the moment. They did get to much wind In the beginning but I gotta give them wind because the temps get too high. At the top of the canopy it’s about 82-83. And the humidity which I have been trying to get down( need to get a de humidifier) is at around 50-55% during the day. At night that shit shoots up to 78%. They are in a tent in a room that we try to keep cool. CAN TOU TELL ME ARE MY GIRLS IN FLOWER OR SRILL VEG. I flipped them to 12/12 bout 3 weeks ago. DO MY OTHER GIRLS LOOKS HEALTHY. Tell me what I should to to help my grow please.

Ok thank you, why is that happening to only the bottom though? Also it seemed like they were doing they before I ever started feeding them nutes. But I may be mistaken.

Yes. They look to be about a week to 10 days into flower.
Don’t worry about the co2.

What lights are you using?

Tell me about your watering?
Do you collect and measure runoff pH?

The rh swings are pretty big. Do you use an exhaust fan?

I am using maxisun 2000w quantum board lights(knock off spyder farmer 2000) I know people hate on these but they seem to be doing well but I don’t know much lol. I’m keeping the lights about 15inches away. It’s weird they are all the same strain gorilla glue And two are growing like sativas and the other two like indicas. Also one of the plants has 5 points on some leaves and 7 points on others. I don’t know what that means or if that’s common but I thought that was interesting.

I water them about every two days now. I never feed them more than twice a week. No I never PH the run off water.

I have a exhaust fan but I use it the wrong way when I do put it in the tent to suck out all the hot air the temperatures always are higher. So I have the hooked up to where it is blowing into the tent and I have the tent zip opened. But at night I zip it shut and turn off the exhaust fan. Should I not do that ? Also I am seeking for a better solution because I would rather have the tent sealed shut and using the exhaust with the carbon filter because I can’t have them reaking the neighborhood.

Also when you say they are ten days into flowering…did I switch them to 12/12 to early ? I did that about 3 weeks ago

You can switch photos to flowering whenever you want. Flowering is considered day 1 when you see budding/small buttons/pistols,
Not when you flip to 12/12. It can be 2 weeks from flip before flowering officially begins.

The lights are not 2000 watts to be sure! The plants do look much better now however! Nice comeback! Be careful to not over feed but try to followbyour feed schedule for the flower phase. As for CO2, save your money. Your environment is not correct to benefit even slightly from it.

Your exhaust fan should be sucking air out of the tent. Intake can be a passive light trap.

There are controls that will turn the fan off and on at certain temps or humidities.

In flower the tent needs to be 100% light proof during lights out.
