This being the autoflower support forum, are you saying this works for autos? I only ask because you mention clones and outdoors so I guessed photo, If this has proved to work on autos I’ll have to give it a go!

Autos don’t care, you can candle on autos they tolerate it probably better than photos
Right, but are you going to get the same benefits doing it to an auto? And by benefits I mean yield.
Ide like to see a side by side clone test of candle vs non candle, i don’t see any reason why candle would yeild more.
Photos are meant to get X amount of light depending where their parents genetics are from, indica vs sativa and location on the globe thus hours of light they would receive in nature.
That being said lights on is a merely just time for energy to be absorbed and we go back to DLI.
