White widow is dying

Hello, i am asking for help. This plant is white widow. can you help to figure out what is the problem? my ph is stable, soil is perfect, nutrient controlled no overnutrient and this happened just in 2 days. The plant was so healthy .I have others white widow, i treat them all the same as ph water quatity 5 litre per plant in 20 gallon pot no over or under watering.i am using t Shape training by puting iron bars on top of the soil and bind the branches to it, it will make any problem?. Thank you for help

How often are you giving 5 litres of water? In a 20 gallon pot, it’d take at least 5 or 6 gallons before you even start to get runoff, I would think. I bet she’s just really thirsty. How heavy does the pot feel? That much plant and 20 gallons of soil would be extremely heavy except for leading up to needing watered. Outdoors especially, you should be saturating that soil and letting it dry up quite a bit in between. That is one badass manifold, by the way. Give her a drink and see if she perks back up. There’s a lot of work there to loose my friend…and good work, at that!

Thank you for the advice and compliment. When it started showing symptoms, i flushed it. After 2 days the pot was dry so i watered again she drinks normal but still getting bad. The pot cant take 5 gallons water it takes about 3 gallon and start to run off. I forgot to tell you something important i am using Tshape training i put iron bars on top of the soil and i band the branches to it maybe the iron is the problem when it dissolve in the soil or isnt a problem i dont know. I will work hard to revive it thank you again

That’s a thought. They need some iron, but too much would definitely be a problem. After you flushed, did you check the PPM after feeding again? She just looks really hungry/thirsty to me. I hope you get her squared away.

No i didnt check the ppm but the run off after the flush was normal the water is clean. i am using 2 tds meter and 2 ph meter for safety. The other plants going very good. If add some molasses maybe she will gets better. thank you

How about filling out this so we have all of the parameters? Not knowing what you are doing with the plant makes it basically guessing at this point. Need detailed info if a diagnosis is needed.

That’s what my plant looked like when I got botrytis are leave you pluck pulling pieces of bud out with it if so you have bud rot ( botrytis) and that’s a loss no come back get rid of it and start over it will effect other plants spire travel with wind contact infect sheers … so if u have other plants clean everything with alcohol just incase it is

Outside plants get rain and there susceptible to it so do count it out

My opinion, looks like your having issues at the root level to kill off a whole plant like that in two days. Rot or a toxicity . Also I see your doing some heavy training there. Have you inspected the main stems for crack or splits?

Please fill out the support ticket that @Myfriendis410 posted

Do you have pics of the other plants?

I suspect, from the color of those leaves, she wasn’t happy for a bit longer than just 2 days.

Hello, thank you all for your support i apperciate that so much. The plant is dead now i will update you with roots picture.Drinkslinger yes this happened in 2 days but yea she was unhappy before but she shows signs in just 2 days all the leaves became like that. I will send the picture of the others with the picture of the roots. watt-sun i agree with you it so possible i give more chance to toxicity. I am not a biginner in grow but its my first time that i have an issue in root systeme i didnt deal with fungus before or any problem like that. Yeah it a heavy training right but and yeah the main stem cracked but i fixed all the times before no prob with that she recovers normaly and become more durable. Fano-man yeah probably yeah cant say yes or no. Myfriendis410 i give you the formation despite the fact she is dead

Roots really don’t look that bad…
But what stands out to me is there is a zip-tie right under the first knuckle split that looks super tight and with a plant that size , it’s a good chance that it got chocked out at the trunk and basically damped it off …
Basically the trunk wasn’t big enough to keep the plant alive…
Or some sort of pathogen…
But I’m really suspicious of that zip tie…

How can i identify what is the problem. What steps i make to know what really happened.thank you

Agree with @peachfuzz. You can see in the photos the zip ties choking off the plant in multiple areas. Should never use them on something that is growing. Imagine keeping a puppy collar on a Rottweiler through its growing stage. It was a great looking mainline though!

Oof. Tough lesson learned with this plant. If using zip ties on the others I would remove them immediately and get some coated wire.

@Ghassan
Not sure if cannabis moves water through the plant like a tree does but I do know if you cut a ring around a tree deep enough through the bark it will die standing up. I have to agree with @peachfuzz and the zip tie theory , looks like it girdled her to death .

@Chassan,

Sorry for the late responce. Have been celerbrating my birthday, any way.
I wouldn’t waste any more time with that plant, she to far gone.
As for the other plants that you posted it’s looking like Magnesium (Mg) - Micronutrient and Mobile Element
The reason I say this is the outer part of the leaves, see how they are turning color like this pic i just posted

11341134calcium-start2

Magnesium (Mg) - Micronutrient and Mobile Element

Magnesium helps supports healthy veins while keeping a healthy
leaf production and its
structure. Magnesium is significant for chlorophyll-production
and enzyme break downs.
Magnesium which must be present in relatively large quantities
for the plant to survive,
but yet not to much to where it will cause the plant to show a toxicity.

Magnesium is one of the easiest deficiencies to tell… the green veins
along with the
yellowness of the entire surrounding leave is a dead giveaway, but
sometimes that’s not
always the case here. In case you have one of those where it doesn’t
show the green veins,
sometimes leaf tips and edges may discolor and curl upward. The growing
tips can turn lime
green when the deficiency progresses to the top of the plant. The edges
will feel like dry
and crispy and usually affects the lower leaves in younger plants, then
will affect the
middle to upper half when it gets older, but It can also happen on older
leaves as well.
The deficiency will start at the tip then will take over the entire outer
left and right
sides of the leaves. The inner part will be yellow and or brownish in color,
followed by
leaves falling without withering. The tips can also twist and turn as well
as curving
upwards as if you curl your tongues.

Excessive levels of magnesium in your plants will exhibit a buildup of toxic
salts that
will kill the leaves and lock out other nutrients like Calcium (Ca). Mg can
get locked
out by having too much Calcium, Chlorine or ammonium in your soil/water.
One of the worst problems a person can have is a magnesium def caused by
a ph lockout.
By giving it more magnesium to cure the problem when you are thinking you
are doing good,
but actually you are doing more harm then good. When the plants can’t
take in a nutrient
because of the ph being off for that element, the plant will not absorb
it but it will be
in the soil… therefore causing a buildup. A buildup will be noticed by
the outer parts of
the plant becoming whitish and or a yellowish color. The tips and part
way in on the inner
leaves will die and feel like glass. Parts affected by Magnesium deficiency
are: space
between the veins (Interveinal) of older leaves; may begin around interior perimeter of leaf.

Problems with Magnesium being locked out by PH troubles

Light Acid Soils, soils with excessive potassium, calcium and or phosphorus

Soil

Magnesium gets locked out of soil growing at ph levels of 2.0-6.4
Magnesium is absorbed best in soil at a ph level of 6.5-9.1 . (Wouldn’t
recommend having a
ph of over 7.0 in soil) anything out of the ranges listed will contribute
to a Magnesium
deficiency.

Hydro and Soil less Mediums

Magnesium gets locked out of Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels
of 2.0-5.7
Magnesium is absorbed best in Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels
of 5.8-9.1
(Wouldn’t recommend having a ph over 6.5 in hydro and soil less mediums.)
Best range for
hydro and soil less mediums is 5.0 to 6.0. Anything out of the ranges
listed will contribute
to a Magnesium deficiency.

Solution to fixing a Magnesium deficiency
Any Chemical/Organic nutrients that have Magnesium in them will fix a
Magnesium deficiency.
(Only mixing at ½ strength when using chemical nutrients or it will c
ause nutrient burn!)
Other nutrients that have magnesium in them are: Epsom salts, which is
fast absorption.
Dolomite lime and or garden lime (same thing just called different)
which is slow absorption.
Sulfate of Potash, Magnesia which is medium absorption. Worm Castings,
which is slow absorption.
Crabshell which is slow absorption. Earth Juice Mircoblast, which is
fast acting. (a must buy!!
Has lots of 2ndary nutrients).
Now if you added to much chemical nutrients and or organics,( which is
hard to burn your plants
when using organics) You need to Flush the soil with plain water.
You need to use 2 times as
much water as the size of the pot, for example: If you have a 5 gallon
pot and need to flush
it, you need to use 10 gallons of water to rinse out the soil good enough
to get rid of excessive
nutrients.
