First time grower. They are over 100 days old. I was trying to get the trichomes to turn more milky than they are, but seems I may have waited too long. Will these still be fine to cut now? New to cutting and drying as well.
I am not a auto grower but I believe your girls are done at 100 days…they look brown and dry…trichs should be all milky with amber at this stage
I would pull them.
Drying can be challenging in some climates, the ideal environment is 60 degrees 60 percent humidity, 10-14 days. Low and slow while keeping an eye out for mold. When the branches get an audible snap and the leaves are brittle to the touch they are ready for trim and then cure.
Curing is the process of pulling the moisture deep in the buds to the surface and equalizing, this is commonly called sweating. You will want the moisture inside the jars to be somewhere in 58-62% range for a good cure, this can take weeks.
You may need to burp the jars to maintain this 58-62%.
They r over done me boy … N I wouldn’t recommend waiting this long next time unless that’s what ur going for otherwise n this is my opinion n what I was taught by other growers u can either wait till u see majority of hairs turn red or orange or u get a mini hand held microscope 7-11$ n check trichomes cloudy with few Amber’s n bang baby u r at top potency they say but good luck with growing an I’m sure I’ll see ya around here again lol take it easy
Your plants look dried in place already but as long as there is no mold you should be fine.
