Nutrients:
Cal Mag Plus - 1 Tsp
Fox Farm Grow Big - 1 Tsp
Water Ph’d to 6-7 after Nutes mixed (Per Gallon)
Soil Moisture Level (Measured Green)
So after some research it seems that White Tips on your leaves indicates the beginning of Nutrient Burn. So as an immediate response I flushed twice with Ph’d water and have seen no improvement.
Should I re-start adding Nutrients, but at lower amounts now or keep flushing?
also, when you say your ph is 6-7, that’s a large range and makes me think you are checking based on the shakers where you fill up a vial with your feed and drop some liquid and read the color chart. if that’s the case, this is very inaccurate. you should know exactly what your ph is. check out the apera ph20
Upon a much much closer look it appears that most of the tips have twisted at the ends.
Also, I have one plant that is showing brown spots on the fan leaves here and there.
I flushed and adjusted the Nutrient level in half again.
So feeding every three days and Ph’d water in between.
I can’t figure this one out. I believe that I’m taking all the necessary steps
to avoid the Burn, but am believing that something else is going on here.
I wonder if the experts on this site could chime in.
The PICS above are perfect examples, Just zoom them for close-ups.
This condition seems to be spreading, but all research leads to a nutrient issue. So I was feeding every three days.
Since these are auto flowers, they are at the beginning flowering stage.
Can you under feed your plants and get the same symptoms??
I thought it might be environmental since I was seeing it everywhere, but everything about
white tips reveals a nutrient imbalance.
So I am now feeding every 5-7 days and half the suggested amounts. I water with ph’d water in which I usually have to ph down from out of tap. I usually get in the middle of 6-7 on the scale.
I also noticed that watering them once a day is barely keeping them in the green on moisture content and will be adjusting the watering schedule up a notch to keep up. (Yes I use fancy meters to measure my water’s ph and soil moisture and ph levels as well as EC).
So EXPERTS. What am I doing wrong or not doing??
PLEASE Help before my plants suffer anymore if you realize what the problem is.
