Hello everyone, I hope all are doing well. I just noticed some white on a few leaves. I thought it might just be bird shit because I don’t believe it was there yesterday and I was able to clean it off with just water, but I know I’ve heard Downey mentioned before. I hope it’s not mold. This girl is really starting to flower nicely
And do Not use downey on your plants for mold or anything else for that matter.
Far too many chemicals / perfumes may not wash off.
If it does come back and prove to be mold then you can use a 50/50 mix of 3% peroxide and water. It will kill what it lands on but won’t keep it away.
Just keep an eye on it for a few days to see if anything comes back where you wiped it off previously.
I have the same thing on my White Widow outside. I think it was a bird. Never progressed and didn’t start as small spots. Just appeared. I had them close to a mulberry tree that went crazy with berries this year so birds and squirrels were pretty much overhead a lot of times. I’ve moved them and haven’t had anything since. The spots are still there but have faded.
