When will Crown Royal Fem. flower?

Started Crown Royal Fem. in 5 gal pots outdoors in early May. I live in Vancouver BC. When can I expect them to start flowering, do you think?

Google when your night time for your area exceeds the hours of daylight it should start flower soon after that 12 hours or more of un interrupted darkness is marijuanas natural cue to begin the transition to flower as fall is approaching along with first freeze … the plant is trying to live full life cycle grow vigorously until its signalled by mother nature to go into flower nature wants a Male to pollinate a female and procreate a viable seed to complete the marijuana plant life cycle but different areas are different start if 12 and 12

I just googled your area and u never get more the 11 hours and 52 minutes utes of dark so I dont know if it will be enought to signal your plants but that’s in November and October and I know it’s cold as all hell then… it dosent seem like its gonna be a workable situation u might need to bring them inside for flower… @Donaldj hes up in the Yukon if I’m not mistaken and he indoor I think for that reason

Crown royal is a 9 week flower and a moderate yeilder of 46g/sq foot with all the bells and whistles… so if this is anywhere near you first attempt dont expect those number of weight it’s just what expert growers have reported with also 22 to 12% thc unless u have everything from a to z you’ll be on lower end if thc

Yeah, this is going to be an issue. This is my first time growing reg feminized. Normally I grow autoflower. Didn’t think this all the way through…

My place is pretty small and I use a wheelchair so I have some creative thinking to do…

Thanks for all your input, folks!

Do you have any pictures of your plant? I have a friend that grows outdoors in Canada, I will ask him and report back.

The alternative is to create your own dark space and place your plants in this space for your 12 hours of darkness. One summer I placed mine (2 potted plants) in utility shed to create my dark period. Each morning I would put them out about 7 am. Then each evening around 7 pm I would set them back in the shed. This worked extremely well, since once closed up in the shed they had no light exposure.

I’m more concerned about the cold It starts to rain and get chilly by October in Vancouver. Even if I could start them flowering tomorrow, I have no way to protect them from the cold, damp days. They will freeze to death or grow moldy. I may have to ask someone to adopt them…

He said most by around August 15th or so. You are definitely treading thin water growing outdoors that far north. @MattyBear is in Pacific Northwest US, and I’m pretty sure he only grows autos outside?

@dbrn32 Yes, I should have stuck with autos. I’ve realized my mistake. With autos, I’m used to thinking “How many months until harvest?” It never occurred to me to check when autumnal equinox is because it didn’t matter. I did the same thing this year, but overlooked the fact that they’re not autos this time! Dumdum!

They’re looking really nice, too. I would hate to see them fail to finish!

Could finish up just fine for you too.
