how long after i do 12/12 do i use bloom nutes? they are 18 days veg ajd in 1 week im switching to 1212. i used worm castings, dolomite lime, bone meal, alfalfa meal

@appleyardjr267 you can start giving them flowering nutrients about a week in advance. Light doses at first, you just want the nutrients available before they’re needed.

I would just follow your particular manufacturers instructions. Each kind of run their bottles NPK differently and such apply each bottle a little differently.

cool thanks. so i guess ill use the tiger bloom 1 week after starting flower. but imma do 1tsp to start to be safe amd work up to 2.
This one covers you if you’re not using the FF Dirty Dozen. The two charts differ, due to the use of many products vs 3-6 products. The sledgehammer or something like it (Botanicare Clearex) is a must have with the FF nutes.

so on week 7 and 8 i mix the grow big and tiger bloom together? seems like alot
FF nutes are kinda like fast food for the plants. They have you mix in nutes together to give an appropriate NPK level for the stage of development. @raustin uses these nutes according to the schedule with great success. Maybe she’ll jump in here.
nice. its cause i heard that whatever the chart says to only do half cause they calculate it a little high ajd ill get nute burn. is that true?
The chart has you slowly increase nutrients. You might get a little tip burn, but that is exactly what you want. It lets you know that you were feeding just above what they need

At wk7 you should be using the other nutes added in as well. Never mix the concentrates together. You must add them one at a time into the water.

oh ok. its day 18 now. i wanna start flowering in one week. should be alot bigger by then. already getting a pretty fat stem. been giving it rhino skin

I would keep feeding the wk4 nutes until the plant gets larger that before flipping. This is all just preference though. The larger the plant, space permitting, the more final weight

Thanks for jumping in @Budbrother what a time to be out of likes.
If I would change anything on the Fox Farms schedule, I would give a little bit extra nitrogen into flowering to support the stretch. Then back off after it’s finished stretching.
@appleyardjr267 When I used FF nutrients, the plants showed nitrogen deficiency too soon for my liking. Since you are a new grower, I recommend following the schedule for best results.

yea i havemt used any of the nutes yet because of my soil mix but next watering i am gonna put the grow big in. im sure it needs it by now. i have all 3 of the ff nutes. so just give it the full 2 tps?
