When to top Grandaddy Purple

Hello my first time Im 4 weeks into Grandaddy Purple plants have 5 blade leaves at what time should I top the plants?

I top anywhere after 5 full nodes not counting the cotyledons and first (usually single) leaves

@jmontrelli Welcome to Canna College 101!! I’m just a little sooner with my toppings then @Caligurl, after the cotyledons I count up 3 nodes and then pinch off the tip. And subsequent toppings are after an additional 3 nodes of growth.
