When to start trimming

Hey everyone. I got a couple Gorilla Glue Autoflowers that are starting week 5 starting today. I was curious if I can start trimming them a little? They are really bushy. At least I think. The bottom leaves are nearly laying flat on the soil. Could I cut those ones off? I’ve read that trimming a little can help growth as it’s less leaves and energy the plant has.

The pics below are all the same plant just different angles.

At this point the leaves are providing energy via photosynthesis to the whole plant.
I would remove the ones touching the soil as certain disease or fungus can be transmitted that way.
I have had great success simply tucking the large leaves under so the secondary stem growth can get light.
