What type of soil are you in? If it is FF, then your good with just water for 4 to 5 weeks. happy growing :bat:

50% peat moss, 30% perlite, 20% mushroom compost. Top few inches is MG seed starting mix.

Seems reasonable except when you say you have the top few inches(how many) with MG soil. From what I read here than any type of MG soil is not really that good for growing. Not saying your plant is doomed but hold off on nutes for some time. Maybe others can help with the issues of MG soil. happy growing :bat:

3” and I worried the compost mix would be too hot for seedlings and I didn’t want to transplant because they are autos but the MG has almost no ferts in it

You may have answered your own concern. Your soil combination(MG and the organic ) maybe a bit to hot for your seedling root system. no need to feed at this stage of growht happy growing :bat:

Aha so ur doin organics like me im using coco coir with peat moss and perlite also im using organic compost and worm castings and bat guano and volcanic rock dust fertilizer in my soil mix .And even thou i have all that in my mix i still gave my seedlings 3-4 mls of kelp liquid in one litre one water and this wat my plant looks like now at three weeks old

I strongly recommend keeping all your posts in one topic - easier for folks helping you to see all the info and prevents you from having to repeat the same information multiple times.

It’ll also help later down the road finding all the info you and others have provided.

I believe I was implying that it is not recommended but as you stated it will work. You are proof that it can be done but not the best choice. :bat:

Looks like it might be a little bit warm for the seedling but it really don’t look bad still has a nice color to it. All of suggest for a little bit now where ur went ring was at like 4 pics up looks about 6 inches away from main stalk. Stick to watering 5 or 6 inches away from the plant all on the outer edges of the plant. Let the middle dry a touch and keep sides wet. That will promote them roots to grow out to seek the wet stuff to drink up. If u keep watering by the plant right now the roots don’t have to seek for anything as u pour it right on them to start. Looks nice tho. Good job

It’s the only one out of three that looks that way, and it has Since it popped. It is keeping right up with the others as far as growth. I’ve just never grown from seeds so it’s kinda new to me. And I watered from the drip line out a few inches but the water creeps back in towards the plant as it soaks in.

The new growth on #2 is much thinner than the other two, any reason for this?

Just seems to me like she is a fast grower she is growing faster than she in is filling in right now. The yellowish on new leaves is a sign she is fast growing and chlorophyll had no fully set in yet. Looks good keep doing what u r doing
