Something ive always wondered… When my plants are ready to switch from veg to flower all colas “dim” a bit, get a little yellow hue to them. Then flowering starts. What is that called?? Scientific name or slang???

The yellowish new growth is the chlorophyll struggling to keep up with the rapid growth. Usually you experience this in the plants preflower stretch. Not sure of a scientific term or phrase
