I wanna try a 3 plant dwc in a storage tote
I run a 6 plant rdwc with built in chiller flower unit …
I Have vegg systems and clone systems and flower systems…

Even I finally broke down and got one - as grow equipment goes they aren’t too bad price-wise IMHO. Worth it for the consistency and the peace of mind.

The dwc is probably, maybe a garbage can as a reservoir your choice on pumps or siphon to move the water easier. Look up bell syphon for a pulsating feeder. your best bet

5gal buckets are a PITA and grow small plants. That’s where I started, and have been upgrading since. Of course, I have the room. I’ve now got my system set up similar to @peachfuzz, as in using the totes. One difference, I use another tote for my reservoir. I TOTALLY understand having to go with what you can afford. In MY opinion, the one thing that you DON’T want to skimp on is your light.
