Hey @g420g420 that’s a great question for the community. I think the
Always start with genetics based on the environment you have to grow in.
Let’s take a look at your last grow and what you have to work with. .
If you do not know, or do not use something; Just say so; Or post
NA (non applicable)

-What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed (photo or auto)
-Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
-Vessels: Type and capacity of container (fabric, plastic, etc)
-Indoor or Outdoor if indoor, size of grow space
-Light system List brand and wattage/spectrum
-Actual wattage draw of lights
-Current Light Schedule
-Temps; Day, Night
-Humidity; Day, Night
-Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size
-AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,
-Co2; Yes, No

If growing Hydro some additional questions:

-DWC? RDWC? Autopots? Ebb and Flow? Other?
-Distance of liquid below net pot (DWC)

Always try to upload a clear picture in white light of any issues you may have to allow the community to assist you.

In addition to what @LateNightGardner asked…

You are not satisfied with your current yields of about an ounce and a half or so.

What sort of yields do you want to shoot for and what is your budget for your setup?

I have unlimited budget I don’t use Co2 seeds from here been growing on and off for 20 years all my friends grow never heard of anyone getting more than 2.5oz per lady indoors. Am I wrong ppl talking about getting 17oz per lady never heard of it

This ILGM Gold Leaf is from a grow in 2019:

It was harvested about a week after this photo. The final dry weight of the buds was 17.8 ounces.

It was grown in 10 gallon fabric bags (Roots Organic Original soil) and was vegged for about 60 days. ppfd for most of the grow was 900+/-. No CO2 or anything else exotic.

17oz on an indoor plant sounds like a bit of a stretch. Even if it is true, it’s certainly a very far cry from averages. However, I can routinely get 5 to 8 oz from autoflowers indoors. That’s after several years of learning from others, videos, books, articles, websites, forums, and most of all my own mistakes. When I first switched to autos I had lower yields then I do now, so hang in there and take in as much information as you can.

@merlin44, I typed that before I saw your post. I’m definitely not calling you a liar, lol.

That’s amazing!

I did not take it that way. My grows are thoroughly documented (Merlin’s Grow Log).

The couple of times that I grew autos, I got between 3 and 10 ounces per plant. Definitely less predictable than photo period plants.

I should also add that in the same grow as that Gold Leaf, I had a Blue Haze the was only 12 ounces. :man_mage: :joy:

I have many different strains going some give me 4-8 oz and others 1/2 oz. With my variety theres always something new to experience

Honestly I’m happy with my 1.68 oz yield I just don’t know how ppl are getting 17oz. Just weird I’m so far off of some ppl

Those of us that grow big plants and get big yields also have a lot of light. My 6 X 8 foot grow room has 2200 watts of light (LED’s) and I vegg my plants for 60 days. That does not guarantee a large yield but it is the first ingredient.

Veg time and appropriate conditions play a big role. Depending on how I’m growing I usually get a half pound to a pound per plant indoors.

Hoping for 3+ lbs on these 4 plants this run

YUP. no way around that. Then time under a good grow.
So many problems can occur, just getting seed to weed is an accomplishment.
Spend it to get it. Do the math. Good growing to you.

Autos I typically get 4 to 5 ounces. Photos typically 6 to 8. Last photo was not to good, and I only got 3 1/2.

It sounds like you are repeating the same mistake over and over. If you want help, filling out the support information form will help.
Do you top and train?
Medium and nutrients?
Light?
Grow space?

It is hard for me to imagine what is being done to consistently grow plants with that low of output.

I’m about where @Dexterado is re: yield. My best was a Blue Dream photo for 11. The last cut was 5.5 and 6 from Bruce Banner and Runtz autos respectively. Seems like consistently <2 zips has to be about light, at least in part. But, no matter what, if you’re getting to the finish line with 1.68 that you’re happy with, you should be able to harvest more without much more effort, especially if budget isn’t an issue. If you fill out the ticket, the folks here will offer plenty of collective wisdom.

Cant pass up adding some bud porn, here’s the bins from the aforementioned autos :innocent:

Likely true…

A couple of people (maybe @Covertgrower or @MattyBear ???) grow photo periods with the shortest possible veg time by running 12/12 light schedule from seedling to harvest. I am not certain what sort of yields they are getting but I would guess at least 4 or 5 zips per plant. Perhaps someone will chime in with some better information on the short cycle grows.

@MattyBear grows from 12/12. I started much later. He’s had good luck growing that way.
