Hey guys I’m new to this, first time grow useing autos it’s the fruity kush mix with Bergman’s nutes, I’ve only fed these guys the 1st stage food so far twice and with just ro water every other time. Not sure what’s going on. I turned lights down a little as well.
What’s your input OH and PPMs and run off of the 2? Initial impression is a magnesium deficiency but could be PH related
Perhaps Potassium or magnesium…? We need to know more. Can you fill out a support ticket?
Can you do a soil, slurry test to check soil ph?
Without more info, and reading your process, looking at the pics. They look droopy from being overwatered. That will show different deficiencies depending on the plants tolerance to it.
Id say back off the watering until they are light as a feather, then dont soak them. Strains react differently Bruce Banner doesnt really care if you overwater it to much, but Girl Scout Cookies hates it and will die as an example. What happens is if you grow different plants and all have the same nutes, but all have different signs for challenges its usually, roots, ph, overwatering, not actual deficiencies.
Sorry I’m in some kind of response lockout because I’m new.
I have the blue lab 3n1 tester but I’m not sure it’s for soil?
Last 2 waterings I did were just straight RO water with no nutes. Is it possible to over water with them in mesh bags because excess just drips out bottom am I correct?
I gave Bergman’s stage 2 nutes last night with RO water again? Not sure if anything changed this morning?
Pic of current meter. What do I need to buy if this isn’t what I need? Hope I can fix this issue? I had outside plants I watered in bags at least twice a day with nutes every time and had no issues lol.
Help……… thanks guys
Again if I don’t respond it’s because I’m limited?
Thats a really good meter, but its designed to be in hydro where those probes sit in the solution. It can still work though. You want to take the runoff and test that by putting it in a cup or something and dropping the probes in. On overwatering, canabis likes peroids of dry followed by wet, if roots stay wet the plant basically drowns. I’m a hydro grower so im not an expert on your grow medium, but the same basic concepts apply to both.
Ok so I will go home today for lunch, if there’s any water in the drip tray I should put it in a cup and do my tests with that correct?
Thank you
That’s the meter I use: great choice.
Please fill this out when you get your PH/TDS numbers:
COPY/PASTE the below list into your forum post.
Answer these simple questions the best you can.
If you do not know, or do not use something; Just say so; Or post
NA (non applicable)
-What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed (photo or auto)
-Age of plant
-Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
-Vessels: Type and capacity of container (fabric, plastic, etc)
-PH and TDS of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
-PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable
-Method used to measure PH and TDS
-Indoor or Outdoor if indoor, size of grow space
-Light system List brand and wattage/spectrum
-Actual wattage draw of lights
-Current Light Schedule
-Temps; Day, Night

If growing Hydro some additional questions:
-DWC? RDWC? Autopots? Ebb and Flow? Other?
-Distance of liquid below net pot (DWC)
-Temperature of reservoir
-TDS of nutrient solution
-Amount of air to solution
Always try to upload a clear picture in white light of any issues you may have to allow the community to assist you.
Sorry I do understand what the ticket thing means. I will read more about this forum (when I get time)before I post anything else sorry.
Last post I suppose, here’s numbers, not sure what nute numbers mean or how to interpret yet
Ph 6.4
Nutes 4.4
Thank you
I meant I don’t understand what ticket means lol not “ do” sorry
What strain- auto fruity kush mix

Hope this helps?
I’m useing the organicare true earth soil with Bergman’s nutrients. Is it possible I’m useing to much nutes? I’m only asking because I have no clue what the EC 4.4 means? I know my ph is within spec, thanks
Ok I filled out everything and posted to this thread, is this what I needed for help? Thank you
I agree with a magnesium def aswell some epsom salts in ur next feeding
I would say your nutrient load is fine in that soil, PH is where you want it. Adding some Epsom won’t hurt but I suspect they will sort themselves out soon.
Ok thank you. But why do you say they will sort themselves out soon? Is overwatering the issue? And what does my ec 4.4 mean?
Thank you
This is an approximate value for the amount of soluble salts present in your medium. 2,200 ppm = 4.4 EC. That is a reasonable value for soil so no nutes for a couple of waterings. Epsom only. Overwatering is something that you will have to decide for yourself. You should be watering to runoff soon if not now.
Thanks for your help, I’ll update hopefully soon when these get better
Should I just be useing water from my RO system? Thanks again
Add a little Epsom: like 1 Tablespoon per gallon.
Ok thanks, my friend gave me some cal mag after I told him what this forum said, I have not used it yet, would that be the same as epson
And again am I good with useing ro water all the time instead of tap water? I’m going to start a hydro grow next so I have a ro system already up and running with a ph out of about 6.8, thank you for all your help
