What makes her do this every morning?

Is she reaching for light?

All her leaves start pointing upwards in a V shape completely diff than her sisters…

It means she is happy. Consider it to be a smile.

She’s praying to the sun. (light) A lot of them do it. Look on you tube for time lapsed videos of weed growing, it’s fun to watch. It’s fine.

Sometimes the runts grow up to be great producers.

Yes those are cool. There is one from sprout to harvest in like 14 minutes. It looks like she is doing jumping jacks.

I’m currently watching a PBS series, The Green Planet, which is about the life of plants in different environments. Fascinating stuff! It’s amazing what plants are actually doing while we’re sitting here thinking they don’t move.

According to responses at:

V in the leaves can mean
‘praying’, indicating a need for magnesium
‘canoeing’, a response to heat stress

I personally found recently my leaves stiffened and V’d if I overwatered.

Also in that post someone said it’s perfectly normal and healthy in some plants I guess, so we could go with ‘smiling’ if everything is on point
