Hello all! Purple Punch is the strain and i am growing outdoors in soil in large pots in San Diego. The leaves are dark green and clawing. From my quick research this could be attributed to overwatering or Excess Nitrogen. I have been watering every other day with two gallons. I have been using Flora Nova Grow 7-4-10 but only using 1 table spoon per 2 gallons. I have since stopped using any nutrients but seeing no change. I am also allowing the soil to dry out and have reduced watering. My guess is Nitrogen excess. Hopefully that will correct itself. Any other ideas or suggestions?
Clawing can be a nitrogen excess, but not in this case. If it were you would see also dark green, waxy leaves with burned tips. An improper pH is the most common cause.
Help us with some information and we’ll help you get it solved. I’m most interested in your runoff pH and PPM numbers.
A support ticket will help us help you. Can you please fill out a support ticket? Please include what type of water you are using (RO, distilled, tap.)

I don’t call that clawing, yours looks more like tacoing, which is normally the plant showing too much light/heat exposure in my experience. Fill out the support ticket and that’ll help the Class tremendously.
What is the most cost effective method of getting that information? The runoff happens directly into the dirt below the pots. I can capture someway
