What causes autos to Herm.?

@PigmanBBQ @SlowOldGuy @MattyBear @fano_man
I’ve got an awesome front deck which gets plenty of direct Fl sunshine. If I put plants out during day and finish under lights, will this cause them to herm.?

It shouldn’t by design, but sometimes plants are a little more sensitive too.

The autos should be better choices for that really. Or at least I don’t see you gaining anything by doing it with photos.

Iv never done that myself but im with @dbrn32 and some strains are more sensitive. Which strains are more then others I dont kno but i had one white widow auto i grew last year outside that hermed. I think it was weather stresses though with all the rain and cold nights we had up heare in the northeast. The plant produced some pretty good flower anyway.

@Olddog2270 Seeds from hermied plants tend to herm…

I got an amnesia haze that started off fast but slowed down fast, the NLs surpassed her. True leaves coming out looking very…“odd”

Did you transplant or train it?

Transplant…7 days old today.

That’s been known to stall plants.

I transplanted , sorry she’s 6 days old, last Tuesday, with seed started puck attached, bit I ripped open bottom so not hinder root growth… Like I said she was out doing the to northern lights they were struggling to start off with…

I just put her ass out on the front deck…let the sun straighten her ass out, lol😎

I had a seedling come up dead. So weird. I dont know what happened. Maybe too warm? I didn’t take a picture because I broke her trying to see wtf was wrong… so it really doesnt matter anymore. I think she was too hot during germination but her root loved the heat

like everyone else is saying, anything can hermie these new strains.!

if u do go from out to in,
go for mild lighting, do not try to replicate the sun inside.!!
hang the lights at their max ‘recommended height’ (12-18", yours will be at 18-20")

lower lighting would be less likely to stress/herm em.!
